After a couple of days, Yixing was completely healed and back to his usual life in their university. He admits, having a break from college life is good but indeed he had missed his subjects, especially his dance class where he shone the brightest. Much to his dismay though, he’s still excused from all his classes which included physical activities. During those recovery days, Baekhyun and Luhan frequently visited him constantly bringing over food and everything that could help relieve Yixing’s boredom. They’d play video games at night, Baekhyun and Luhan even slept over at Yixing’s shared dorm with Kris, much to the other’s annoyance. Speaking of Kris, Yixing wasn’t exactly sure as to why he started getting awkward with him, although Kris never really changed that much. It was a personal thing. Every time he’d talk to Kris or just interact with him, he’d feel these certain emotions unknown to him. Although he couldn’t pinpoint these emotions, he was sure that they were negative. In the end he just decided to bottle them up and ignore them as much as he can, since obviously it’s not doing him any good. The more he tried to ignore though, the more he ends up thinking about it. With such confusions like these in his mind, he agreed to himself to just distance himself away from the guy that causes this, for the meantime that is.

And now back at the university, he’s currently spending his time in the library waiting for his best friend to finish his class. The library had been their usual meeting spot since most of the time Luhan stays there to so his daily stalking. Yixing’s previous class ended early since their professor had a meeting to attend to so there he was at the current situation. He couldn’t help but notice someone familiar a few tables across him though. Tanned skin with plump lips can only mean Kim Jongin. The latter was Yixing’s classmate in his dance class during the previous semester. As his mind wandered off through those days though, he didn’t notice that the topic of his thoughts was sitting right in front of him. And when it occurred to him that Kim Jongin was in fact mere inches from his face he let out a silent squeal instead, earning a chuckle from the other.

“Zhang Yixing right? We’ve been classmates before?”

“Uh yes Kim Jongin?”

“Glad you remembered, so you were kinda staring at me so I thought you’d want to talk.”

“a-ahh sorry about that! Just that you looked familiar so I, well yeah.”

“you stutter a lot, is your Korean bad as well?” Jongin asked

“As well? What do you mean?”

“Well your friend, Luhan right? He’s bad at Korean so my best friend Sehun offered to tutor him.”

“W-what? Luhan is bad at Korean?” Yixing asked, paused for a moment, and then bursted out laughing, earning a shush from the librarian and a skeptical look from the person across him.

“Really? Where did you get that? Luhan hyung had been staying here in Korea for years, his Korean is better than mine!” Yixing said in between laughter since he couldn’t believe what he heard from Jongin.

“So you mean he’s good at Korean?” Jongin pushed on further.

“Yeah of course! I stayed longer here than he did yet he’s better than me.”

Jongin went silent for a moment, disbelief enveloping his face and Yixing couldn’t help but think that he did something incredibly stupid.

“Hey I need to go now, I need to talk to someone, thanks for the time, and apparently the information.”

“u-uhm you’re welcome?” And with that Jongin was out of sight.

“Baekhyun-ah! Baekhyun-ah!” Chanyeol shouted as he caught up to the tiny stature.

With the booming voice of the other, Baekhyun, though having his back turned away, knew already who the voice belonged to, though hoped that he was wrong. As he turned around he found out that no one indeed sounded like that but him.

“Oh hey Chanyeol, didn’t see you there”

“It’s okay, hey about that day, did I do something wrong?” Chanyeol asked sadness visible in his voice and in his face.

 “My house is the same way as Baekhyun’s so we’ll probably be fine walking on our own.”

“Y-yeah we’ll be okay.”

“See you guys then, bye Krease!” Chanyeol last shouted before they left the dorm. Luhan went to the opposite direction leaving Chanyeol and Baekhyun alone.

“Baekhyun-ah you sure did eat a lot, are you sure you’re okay? You look kind of different too.”

“Yes I’m fine, hey why don’t you go ahead? I remembered I need to buy something on my way home.”

“But we have the same path, I’ll go with you then, it’s fine really!”

“No it’s really okay, I can do it alone.” Baekhyun insisted and because it looked like he wasn’t going to agree anytime sooner, Chanyeol bid Baekhyun goodbye.

“what do you mean?” Baekhyun asked in the most innocent way possible.

“It’s just, you seemed angry at me that night, you also didn’t accept my company so I was thinking-“

“I just had a bad stomach ache and needed to buy certain stuff on my way home, you know and it’s kinda embarrassing to buy those so I sent you off.” Baekhyun reasoned.

“Is that really it?”

Chanyeol was in nowhere near believing Baekhyun’s answer since the latter really did seem off that night and Baekhyun couldn’t think of a good answer to back up his reason luckily, the answer stood just right behind Chanyeol.

“A-ah Jongin-ah!”

“Oh hyung!”

“Jongin-ah I’ve been looking for you! What are we going to do for the project?” Baekhyun said while winking at Jongin who had no clue or whatsoever about what was going on and just stood there confused.

Baekhyun then grabbed Jongin’s hand and squeezed it hopefully sending the message to Jongin and he repeated himself while trying to wink again.

“You know? Our project?” Baekhyun emphasized and with that Jongin finally got the hints and replied.

“Oh you mean that project? I forgot hyung sorry, you know about, the project.”

“Chanyeol-ah I’ll talk to you some other time but right now we need to do something, see you later!” Baekhyun said faking the happiness in his voice, and Chanyeol just smiled back and nodded. After that, Baekhyun had dragged Jongin elsewhere.

“Yah hyung what was that all about?”

“Oh it’s nothing, I just needed to get away from that person is all.”

“Why? Did he do something bad?” Jongin questioned

“Well no, no not really, it was just an awkward conversation and I couldn’t manage to cut it without being rude, and there you came, the answer to my prayers.” Baekhyun joked earning a playful slap from Jongin.

“The first time in a while that we see each other again and you use me? What kind of hyung are you?” the younger said faking the sadness.

“Yah, you and I both know that you’re better off with dancing Jongin.”

“Hey that’s offensive hyung!” the other said with a pout.

“oh come here and give your hyung a hug.” And they did just that.

“As much as I’m happy to see you again hyung, I need to take care of something.”

“aww I’m sure that can wait though! Let’s have coffee first! It’s my break.”

“But hyung I need to-“

“Please Jonginnie?”

“Aiiishh I hate it when you do that, fine fine.”

“YAY!” with that, Baekhyun’s mood lightened up.

“You haven’t really changed much Baekhyunnie hyung.”

Luhan hyung! I need you here in the library right now, hurry!

“Aish this unicorn.” Luhan mumbled as he stuffed all of his books in his bag and headed for the library. The library was 2 floors below Luhan’s room so he took the time to just calmly walk and not rush for once. He was near the library already when he saw something that triggered his inner Luhan mode.

“Is that Baekhyun with Kim Jongin?!”

He stood for a good minute and examined the two. They were walking together with Jongin’s hand on Baekhyun’s shoulder and apparently they were laughing and giggling and whatever else they were doing.

“So it’s true, my eyes didn’t deceive me after all.” Luhan said with bitterness since Baekhyun was his close friend and Kin Jongin was just, well he was Luhan’s worst nightmare given that he was the number one reason why Sehun wasn’t his yet. Well maybe it’s a bit exaggerated but still, Jongin was the primary reason that Luhan couldn’t talk to Sehun. And now he sees one of his closest friends giggling around with Jongin.

With that he stormed towards the library looking for his best friend hoping to receive comfort after the betrayal scene he had just witnessed.

“Yixing-ah!” Luhan silently called to his friend that was currently doodling at the back part of his notebook.

“Hey did you receive my text?”

“Well duh no sherlock that’s why I’m here but more importantly, you’d never guess what I saw earlier! Baekhyun is with Kim Jongin! My mortal enemy! If that doesn’t scream betrayal I don’t know what does! If only you had seen them a while ago! Getting cozy with each other and what not. How could Baekhyun do this to me!”

“I think you’re over reacting Lulu, and besides, I talked to Jongin too a while ago you know.”

“Not you too?! I guess it’s every man for himself now huh? And to think I bought you chocolate cake.”

“Oh shush, that’s actually why I told you to come here as soon as you can you know.”

“Oh right about the text, so what was it that you said?” Luhan curiously said forgetting his previous dilemma.

“Well, Jongin came to me a while ago and we talked.”

“So what exactly did you two talk about?”

“Uhm he asked me if I’m having a hard time with Korean language.”

Luhan gulped having a strong feeling of what was it that Yixing said but still urged the other to continue, after all, he might be wrong about his hunch.

“So I asked him why would I have a hard time, a-and he told me that he thought that way because you have difficulty in speaking Korean.”

“W-WHAT-“

“-DID YOU JUST SAY?!!!!”
