Chapter 7: New Teacher

Hyukjae’s POV

“What are you doing here?” I stared at the teacher in horror. How? Why?

“Excuse me Miss? I am the new teacher here.” He said.

“WHAT?!” Am I hearing things?! Is he really the new teacher here? For god’s sake! Is it April’s fools? But wait…it’s not April. What the hell is he doing here?! Because in front of me, stand my soon-to-be husband. Standing proudly in front of my classmates.

“Yes. So Miss, can you now sit on your chair? You are already late and I’m not yet done with my introduction.” He said calmly. I sat on my desk still wondering how that stupid fish became a teacher in my school. How about the company? He owes me a long explanation!

“Okay class, once again my name is Lee Donghae. I’ll be your history teacher from now on.” He introduced. I pinched my cheek, wishing that this is just a dream. But God it hurts.

“Miss Han can you please pay attention?” he said, making all the students turned their head to me.

“Sure sir. I’m sorry.”

“So any questions students?” He smiled charmingly to my classmates. How dare that fish flirt with other girls?!  I could also see the girls looking at him lovingly. ‘Back off girls, HE IS MINE!’ I screamed in my mind.

One of my classmate raised her hand. “Mr. Lee, you are still young. Why did you want to be a teacher?” she asked. That girl is Sunye, the member of hookey club in my school.

 “Actually, being a teacher is not my dream. But I came here for someone I love. Besides I really like history and I’m really good at it. I think it’s going to be fun meeting all of you.”

“So you are not single, Sir?” Another girl asked.

“Yes. I already have a fiancée.” His answer made me blush. Oh no! Don’t tell me he will announce to the class that I am his fiancée. But I’m still not ready. No, no, please not now. I raised my hand in instant

 “Mr. Lee, I think we should start the lesson.” he raised his brow, and I can feel all my classmates glared at me.

“Oh right. Let’s start our history class. ” and the students groaned

Time flew so fast. It’s lunch time already. I went to the canteen with Ryeowook who kept asking me why my fiancé became a teacher here. “I also don’t know Wookie. Aish! Why should he be a teacher here?!” I grabbed my strawberry milk harshly.

“But he looks so handsome Hyukkie” I glared at Wookie who was giggling.

“Why so grumpy Hyukkie? Don’t worry I’m still in love with Yesung baby.”

“Hmm” I was munching on my strawberry bun when I heard someone call me. “Hyukkie!” and in no time my fish fiancé already sat beside me

“What?!” I said coldly, looked away from him.

“Baby, you mad at me? I’m sorry please forgive me.”

“Don’t baby me here.”

He gave me his puppy eyes. I kept ignoring him. “Hyukkie, please I’ll explain it all to you.”

I stood up. “Wookie I have to talk with this fish so you go to the class first okay?” Wookie nodded.

“Let’s go.”

“What?” Donghae looked at me confusedly. He’s wondering where I’ll take him.

“Not here oppa. I don’t want the other students to know our relationship” I left the canteen with Donghae oppa following me. I sat at the bench as soon as we arrived at the school garden. Not so many students come to the garden at lunch time, so it’s safe to talk with Donghae here.

“Hyukkie...” he called me again. I looked down, my feet suddenly looked so interesting to me.

“I’m sorry Hyukkie~” he held my hand and squeezed it

“hmm…?”

“I was so sleepy this morning and when I woke up I was already late so I hurriedly went to this school. I just want to surprise you. I thought you will be happy seeing me as your teacher here. So we can meet often.” He said. I felt guilty seeing his sad face. I’m so selfish for being mad at him like this.

“Oppa...”

“You don’t like it?” Sadness really evident on his face.

“It’s not like that. It’s just, how about the company?”

“Company? Dad already hired a trustable person to take care of it. I just have to check the company once in a while, and…” he paused.
