Grey clouds started to churn overhead and the wind started to pick up. A sharp but quick gust made her shiver.   *Is it going to rain soon?* She frowned, looking around the premises. No one was still at school, except for a small group of boys who were already leaving. Hana rubbed her arms, trying to heat herself up and get rid of the goosebumps that were forming.   Zelo had gone to hang out with his friend, Jongup, and disappeared right after school. Lay wanted to wait with Hana, but she told him to go home. Kai and Dahee had already gone out too.   Tapping her foot absentmindedly, Hana checked the time on her sleek cell phone. *The car should’ve been here by now.*   Plop! A drop of rain hit her on the tip of her nose as she perked up, looking down at the ground. Little wet drops hit the floor as rain started to pour.   *Aish!* Hana yelped and hurried over to the front entrance of the school, sheltering herself from the rain. She patted off the rain from her uniform and sighed, checking the time again.   *I didn’t even bring an umbrella.* She thought dejectedly.   ------------------------   Meanwhile, Daehyun was getting ready to go home. He had stayed for a little bit after school since the teacher had asked him to help file a few of his things. Luckily, it didn’t take him too long to finish.   A gentle pitter-pattering sound from the nearby windows made Daehyun turn around in alarm. *It’s raining?*   Thinking twice, he swiftly grabbed his black umbrella before closing his locker. *Good thing I kept this in there. I knew it’d come in handy.* He triumphantly grinned and started to walk out of the academy.   He whistled a little tune as he walked out of the double doors. Before Daehyun could open up his umbrella, he spotted a figure with long brown hair sitting down in the corner of the stairs.   Tilting his head to one side, he tried to get a better view of the face. Daehyun’s eyes rounded as he recognized her as Hana.   *What’s she doing here?* He brushed his dark bangs out of his face. *Didn’t she go home?* Daehyun noticed that she was pouting at the rain and shivering a little from the cold. To be honest, he felt a little sorry for her.   Hana was about to give up and thought of just making a run for it when a muffled sound of something opening made her freeze.   Hana curiously watched Daehyun with her big doe eyes as he placed the handle of his umbrella in her hand. He looked indifferent for a while until their gazes met. He gave her a look.   ‘Come prepared next time.’   With one gentle look, Daehyun ran into the rain, slipping off his backpack and holding it up above his head to shield himself from it..   Hana gaped at the whole situation, awestruck by his kind actions when she knew that she was being nothing but annoying to him these days.
