He seriously said that to you?!”   Hana flinched at the sudden shout and blushed profusely, “Dahee, quiet down, will you?”   Kai tried to shush his girlfriend while Lay remained indifferent. The other customers sitting in the lavish but homey café ogled at the group of four.   “No matter where you go Hana, you’re the center of attention~” Kai hummed secretively so that only the other three could hear. Hana rolled her eyes and stabbed her fork into the cheesecake they were sharing, “It’s not me they’re looking at. It’s obviously Dahee.”   Lay chuckled as Hana embarrassedly tried to choke down the cake. She beat her chest and shot glares at the customers, who eventually went back to their own conversations. He handed her a mug of milk, which she happily gulped down.   “Well, I can honestly say that it’s the first time I’ve seen you get so red.” Lay patted the top of her head. She made a face at him and shied away, well aware that Dahee was still gawking at her.   When Dahee finally relaxed, she leaned back into the booth seat. A hint of disbelief still rested on her face, “I don’t know how you did it Hana, but you managed to get Daehyun’s approval.”   Kai smirked, “I knew you would succeed.”   Hana poked at the cake and rested her chin on her palm, “Hardly.”   Dahee perked up in interest, “What do you mean? Doesn’t that mean that he likes you?”   “Nope,” she mused, “All he did was wish me luck. It’s an improvement, I admit, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that he likes me.”   Hana heaved a great sigh and pushed the cake away, her head resting in the crook of her arms.   Kai, Dahee, and Lay exchanged worrisome glances and silently sipped on their beverages.   Suddenly, Hana slammed her hands on the table.   “Damn you, Jung Daehyun! Why don’t you just become my boyfriend already, you stubborn idiot?!” She groaned in frustration and buried her face in Lay’s shoulder.   Lay instinctively patted her back as Kai sighed. Dahee just shook her head, wondering how the almighty Queen Hana could’ve become this needy just because of a boy.   *Then again… I’ve become this way because of a certain dork as well…* Dahee’s eyes slowly flitted up to Kai’s handsome face. His sharp jawline and messy good looks could’ve made anyone swoon.   Kai noticed Dahee looking at him and cheerfully grinned, “You don’t have to stare, honey. I know I’m total eye-candy—Mmpf!”   Dahee pushed his face away with a poker face as she sipped her green tea, “Save it, Smirky.”   Kai pouted, his mouth perfectly overturned in a frown.
