Stand By U - DBSK (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLzujr-rgkI)     ----------------------- Narrator’s P.O.V:     Hana was five when the new foreign kid from China moved into her neighbourhood.   “It’s the truck!” Hana squealed as she squished her face against the glass windows from inside the house. Her younger brother, Junhong, was merely a year younger than her, while her sister, Hayoung, was a year older.   “Noona!” Zelo hobbled towards her with one of his overall straps undone. His eyes twinkled with that strange child-like excitement, and his hair was, of course, not dyed blonde yet. His crazy black hair stuck out this way and that.   “Junhong, look!” Hana pointed ecstatically to the window, “The new people across the street are moving in!”   Zelo’s lips formed a tiny ‘o’ as he hurried to look through the window. The moving truck was indeed out there.   Hana and Zelo both tried to look outside to the best of their ability, and Hana squealed again when she saw a tiny little boy coming out of the van alongside what looked to be like his parents.   “Do you have to scream like that? You’re making my ears hurt!”   The two toddlers turned around to see their older sister, Hayoung, with a big grumpy frown on her face.   As a six year old, she grew annoyed by her siblings, and wasn’t afraid of tattling on them since she was the eldest. Even at those times, she disliked Hana, but wasn’t even a quarter as mean to her as she would be later on in life.   “Oops. Sorry, unnie.” Hana giggled. Hayoung rolled her eyes and shook her head, putting on her sparkly shoes and strapping her backpack over her shoulders.   “Noona, where are you going?” Little Zelo managed to ask as he ran over to Hayoung with heavy steps. Hayoung softened a bit at Zelo but stood up, “Daddy and Mommy said that I could go to see Hyojin next door for a little bit.”   Hana followed Zelo and approached Hayoung, “Then unnie, do you think that we’ll be able to go see the new kid’s family and their son across the street?”   Hayoung shrugged, “I don’t know, but Daddy said that if they’re nice enough to be friends with, they’ll come by and greet us first.”   Both the toddlers pouted at this but eventually nodded, bidding farewell to Hayoung as she skipped out the door. The maids around  the entrance bowed to Hayoung courteously as she left.   Hana quirked her lips as her two ponytails bobbed in the air. She turned to the head maid, Jooyeon, who was still her favourite at that time. “Jooyeon, do you think that what Hayoung and Daddy said was right? Will they really come? I want to make a new friend…”   Jooyeon smiled and nodded, “Yes, Hana agashi, I’m sure they’ll come to say hello.”   The hours passed and the two kids were sitting beside Hana’s adoptive mother, who was still alive at that time. She was a sick, but not too much, however, and stayed most of the time in bed. Hana tried her best to read a book to her and Zelo. It wasn’t that hard though since she had learned to read and write at an early age.   “And the dwarves said merrily, ‘Goodbye Snow White!’. They kept waving until the couple ran off in the sun… suns… sunset?”   “Very well done, Hana. That’s right, the sunset.” Her mother beamed proudly at her as she her long black hair. Hana smiled and hugged the book to her chest in elation. Zelo didn’t vie for attention but instead, beamed at his noona in admiration. He wished he could read too.   *Noona will teach me.* He thought before he heard the doorbell ring loudly.   Hana and Zelo straightened up and glanced at each other in excitement, “They’re here!”   Mrs. Choi laughed, “Are you two that excited to make a new friend?”   “I am!” Hana cheered. Zelo shrugged, “I’m excited because noona is.”   Mrs. Choi laughed even harder and allowed the children to hurry and greet their new neighbours.   When the kids got to the door, they noticed Mr. Choi welcoming them already. The maids and butlers had let the guests in, and Hana noticed the tiny boy holding his father’s hand, looking very lost.   She felt a bit shy, but she knew she had to greet them for good manners. The two went over and stood beside their father.   Mr. Choi broke out of the conversation and his face lit up, “Ah, here are two of my children now. This is my son, Junhong, and my daughter, Hana. My eldest daughter, Hayoung, is currently out right now, but I’m sure you’ll meet her soon.”   Hana had to admit that being called Mr. Choi’s daughter still brought strange butterflies into her tiny stomach. She wasn’t really used to it yet even though it had been two years since she had come to the Choi manor.   Nevertheless, the two bowed respectively. Zelo seemed very shy around the others, while bashful Hana beamed, “Hello! It’s nice to mee
