Evening Sky - Ailee (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WqEp8nbgPg)     ----------------------- Narrator’s P.O.V:     Zelo was trembling and unable to speak in the waiting room.   His hands shook with rage at himself, and intense worry for his sister’s well-being. Would she be alright? Why didn’t he insist on bringing her inside with him? Why didn’t he save her in time?   He let out a shaky sigh and buried his face in his hands.   Hayoung, on the other hand, was finishing up her call with Kai.   “That’s right. You’d better come, and fast. She’ll be at ease when she wakes up with you, Dahee, and Yixing there.” She anxiously eyed the emergency light on top of the double doors, “Her boyfriend’s already on his way and father’s flying in from Barbados now. He was the first one we contacted. Mmhm. That’s right. Come soon.”   Hayoung ended the call and let out a stressed sigh, looking at her younger brother from the corner of her eye. He looked gloomy and didn’t say a word. She didn’t know how to console him when she was feeling the exact same way.   Hayoung took the seat across from him and began to speak, “…Junhong, don’t beat yourself up because of this.”   He didn’t reply.   “…It wasn’t your fault,” she tried to begin, “I’m sure Hana will be fine. She’s strong, after all.”   That struck a nerve in him.   “…Fine? She’ll be fine?” Zelo stared up at her with wide, disbelieving eyes. Hayoung stared at her usually bubbly, grinning brother in shock.   “Just being fine isn’t good enough. It won’t satisfy me. I need Hana noona to be perfectly healthy and happy, not just fine.” He shot up from his seat with a look of anger, “And how would you know that she’s strong? It wasn’t even like you were there to notice it, anyways! You always hurt noona when she did nothing wrong to you! You shouted and argued with father! And now… now…!”   Hayoung continued to watch him as he sank down onto the floor, legs in a crumpled mess. A fresh bunch of guilty and angry tears mixed in his eyes as they trailed down his angular face, hitting the linoleum floor.   “…now look at what has happened… because of your boyfriend…”   Zelo was far too exhausted to even make his words sound cross.   He drew his knees near to his chest and hugged them, with his head down.   A stirring of fear hit Hayoung’s heart. That little movement meant so much that she could barely speak. was already dry in horror.   A long time ago… She vowed to never see her brother like that, ever again.   “J…” She tried to reach a hand out, stomach lurching.   Before she could even stutter out his name, someone called, “JUNHONG!”   Hayoung pulled back instantly.   She miraculously watched as Zelo’s head snapped up, alert. She didn’t have the ability to do that. She never did, and she never would.   Daehyun wheeled around the corner with the other three friends tailing him. Zelo felt blood pulsing in his ears as he tried to stand up, “H-Hyung, I’m so sor—“   “Are you alright?!” Daehyun gripped him by the shoulders, “Are you okay?!”   Zelo gawked at him, tears stopping for a second.   Frantically, Daehyun moved him this way and that, scrutinizing him for any injuries, “Did he hurt you too?!”   Finally, Zelo found the voice to answer. “N-No, hyung, he didn’t.”   A relieved expression hit his face, “Good… That’s good…”   The room was silent as Daehyun forced a lopsided grin and ruffled his head weakly, “…I know your sister wouldn’t be happy at all if she found out you were hurt too.”   That made the tears in Zelo’s eyes brim over as he tackled Daehyun into a hug. His words came out in a flurry.   “I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to leave her! I honestly didn’t think that anything would happen, hyung! I’m sorry…! Sorry!” He pleaded, “…I didn’t have the strength to protect my own sister…”   Letting in a sharp inhale, Daehyun patted his back wordlessly. Truth be told, he couldn’t even talk, in fear for breaking down himself. Daehyun wasn’t stronger than any of them. In fact, he thought he was the weakest one in the room.   But he couldn’t afford to be weak right now. Even though he wanted to scream, cry, and throw a fit all over, he knew better than to do that. He needed to be strong for Zelo, and especially for Hana.   With a pained heart, he managed to calm Junhong down.   Hayoung watched from afar, while Dahee hugged Kai in worry for her friend, and Lay bowed his head.   -------------------------------   It was two in the morning when the emergency light
