Scribble - MBLAQ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvNnAHm0BYs)     ---------------------- Narrator’s P.O.V:     “Last bite.” Daehyun urged, holding a spoon up with warm porridge inside it.   Hana clamped shut and shook her head furiously.   “Come on,” he gave her a stern look of warning, “After this, I have to go to school.”   “I don’t want to eat it.” She mumbled, “I’m full!”   Daehyun loosened the tie on his blazer and rolled his eyes, “Even when you’re hospitalized, you’re still acting like a Queen.”   “Of course I am,” she tightened her two loose ponytails and smoothed out the hospital bed’s blanket, “I am one, after all.”   “Hurry up and eat,” he glanced at his watch, “I’m going to be late, and I don’t want you to watch TV on an empty stomach. The doctor says you have to eat.”   Hana frowned deeply, “But I don’t want you to go~”   Daehyun let out a small helpless sigh.   “…Fine! Fine! I’ll eat it!” She leaned in, eating the remainder, and leaned back in her bed, munching the mush. After swallowing, she scrunched up her nose at him, “If you want to leave me so urgently, then go ahead.”   Daehyun was about to cut in, but he thought better of it and shut his mouth. *It’s not like that though…*   Instead, he leaned in and pecked her on the forehead, “Get some rest so that you can be discharged soon.”   “Yeah, yeah,” she grumbled, lying back. She hated being inactive. It made her feel like she was incapable of doing anything. Hana wished she could go back to school soon.   Sensing her annoyance, Daehyun smiled and lowered his head, pressing his lips against hers in a chaste kiss. When he pulled back, her eyes were wide.   “Just for good measure.” He whispered and ruffled her hair, “See you soon.”   Leaving Hana with coloured cheeks, Daehyun left the room. As soon as he left, Hana grabbed her pillows and squealed. She had dreamt of things like that before, but now it seemed too surreal to be true.   When the adrenaline started to fade away, Hana grabbed a manga comic Zelo had left her from the side table.   Feeling a bit better, she began reading to pass the time.   ----------------------------   At around 2:30 p.m, a slow knock came on the door.   Hana, who was watching TV, quickly muted it. *Is that Daehyun?*   “Come in!” She called from the bed.   When she heard the door open, Hana grinned, “Daehyunnie, I’ve been so bored—“   Her sentence froze in the middle when she noticed that it wasn’t Daehyun at the door.   In fact, it was someone that she wasn’t expecting at all.   Her sister, Choi Hayoung.   Hana stared at her in surprise when she walked in. Hayoung didn’t exude a chic or haughty aura around her. She actually looked rather… ashamed.   She halted just at Hana’s bedpost and almost tripped over her feet, which was weird, since Hayoung was always graceful (although Hana never liked to admit it).   Hana instantly straightened up with a neutral expression, “Unnie…” She could easily spot the relief and shame on her older sister’s face judging by that one word.   “…I came to talk to you.” She began, “Are you willing to listen?”   “Depends,” Hana didn’t want to let her guard down, “But I have time to spare, as you can see, so why not?”   Hayoung tried to give her the most amiable expression she could muster up. After mumbling a short ‘thanks’, she found herself sitting promptly at the chair beside the bed.   Hana shut the television off, waiting her to begin.   She didn’t.   It was silent until Hayoung managed three words.   “It was Chihoon.”   “I know,” was all that Hana said. “Junhong told me.”   A reflective expression took over Hayoung’s face as she stared at the linoleum floor. Hana blankly stared into space.   “Do you remember…” Hayoung trailed off, jet black hair straight at her sides, “…when you were first adopted into our family?”   Hana merely blinked at her.   “…Of course you don’t.” Her hopeful expression soon deflated, “You were only three back then.”   “I remember it clearly.” Hayoung continued, “It had always been Mom’s dream to have three children, but due to her complicated health, the doctor said that it wouldn’t have been possible to have another after Junhong was born.”   Hana stayed quiet. Hayoung never talked about her mother. It was like a taboo subject.   “…Mom was dying. I knew that better than anyone else.” Her eyes looked darker than before, “And when I foolishly told Junhong one day after overhearing it from Dad… he turned mute.”   “Junhong…” Hana’s eyes widened, “Became mute…?”   Hayoung nodded curtly, “He was hysterical when I told him about Mother. I never expected him to react that way. It… was frightening. Every day, he would curl up in a ball in his room, never eating, never speaking. It was up to the point that he had been hospitalized. The doctor couldn’t even do anything about it since it was a psychological problem. Even if nobody blamed me, I couldn’t help but feel that it was all my fault for making him that way.”   Her eyes were thoughtful, “From then on… I knew that our relationship as siblings would never be the same.”   “The only one that had the ability to make Junhong smile and speak again… was you.” Hayoung locked gazes with Hana.   “M-Me?” She pointed at herself.   Hayoung nodded
