Two days later

"Chin! We're back!" 

She looked up from what she was frying and then turned to them. "Annyeong! Are you guys hungry?"

"IS THAT CHICKEN I SMELL?!" Onew let go of his bag and ran towards the stove. After seeing what she was cooking, he started jumping up and down. When he finally calmed down, he said as he turned to her, "It looks really good, I'm not even lying. Will it be done soon?"

She couldn't help but laugh as she replied, "It's just about done. Hurry and change, Onew! You wouldn't want the chicken to wait, right?" 

In a flash, he was gone. She laughed and then realizing that something was missing, she asked, "Uhm, where is Minho oppa?"

"He left something in the car, so he said he'll just follow us here. We'll just go inside and change, okay noona? Thank you very much for the food you cooked for us!" Taemin grinned widely before grabbing Jonghyun's arm and entering their bedroom. 

Instead of going inside like the others, Key walked over to the counter, picked up a glass, and as he filled it up with water, he turned to Chin saying, "It's hard to believe that Onew is the oldest, right? Most times, he's the most child-like among us." 

He put his glass on the right side of the stove and then stood to it's left, such that Chin was standing between him and his drink. "Anyway, how are you getting along? Are you enjoying your stay with us so far?"

She took one drumstick and then placed it on a paper towel to dry. "Hmm, yeah. You guys are fun. I've been able to socialize more ever since I got here. I didn't really get to do so back when I was at home."

Key scratched the back of his head and then replied, "You remind me of someone I knew back when I was young. She was sheltered, just like you are now. I'm not sure how she turned out though, because I haven't heard from her in seven years and-"

Suddenly, Taemin came out of their bedroom, a worried look on his face. 

"Hyung, you better come in here. Jonghyun hyung doesn't look so well, and I think he has a temperature."

Key nodded and then replied, "Okay, i'll be there soon." He looked over at Chin and said, "I'll be back, I just need to check on him. He wasn't feeling very good during rehearsals, so something might be up." 

"Yeah, okay. Let me know how he's doing after you've seen him, arasso?"

"Alrighty then. Oh excuse me, I'll just get my drink."

He reached for his water by putting his arm behind her waist, making it look as if he was about to hold her around the waist. Just as he was about to hold his glass, he heard a voice behind them say, "Key?"

Chin quickly turned around in surprise, accidentally leaning on Key's arm and causing him to lose his balance. The next thing they knew, she was already laying on top of him, their faces so close to each other that even the smallest whisper would be heard. Chin immediately looked up and saw Minho's bewildered face. 

"Yeah, you wanna help me up?" She pushed herself up slowly as Minho ran to her side. 

Brushing the hair away from her face, he asked, "Are you okay?" She nodded as Key got up and commented, "I'm so thankful you're not that heavy, Chin." 

She playfully slapped his arm and replied, "Shut up! Hey, you gotta go check on Jonghyun. Hurry, it might be serious."

Key immediately got up and ran towards their bedroom. Minho on the other hand, started to pull her up. "Did you get hurt anywhere? Hmm?" 

"I'm fine," she replied, laughing. "Key has the making of a really good pillow. I'm okay, really." 

Minho shrugged his shoulders then said, "Okay then." He let go of her and then turned to the stove, "Is this lunch?"

"Yeah." She rubbed the side of her head and then added, "Do you all like chicken?"

"I guess so. It's Onew's favorite though, in case you don't know."

"How can I forget? It's been his favorite ever since we were kids."

"Haven't they figured it out yet? Should I just tell them?"

"I don't know. What do you think?"

"Honestly? I'd like for them to figure it out themselves. It might be interesting to see their reactions. After all, like you said, it's been years."

"Alright."

"I think they'll be really shocked. I mean, really and truly shocked. It's really like you resurrected from the dead or something. We have no word about you for seven years then all of a sudden, I see you in a coffee shop. I actually couldn't believe my eyes. I actually thought to myself, 'The nerve of this girl to not let us know she's come back!' Then I remembered what actually happened."

Chin rolled her eyes and then replied, "Sometimes I wish you were the quiet Minho that people think you are."

He laughed out loud and then replied, "Only around you am I like this. It's quite amazing." With that, he disappeared into their room, leaving Chin slightly bewildered.

"He has a high temperature, so I don't think he can make it to the radio show tonight."

Key cut a piece of chicken and placed it in his mouth. "That's too bad, because I heard the host tonight has a huge crush on him. We should call manager hyung. Onew hyung, can you do it?"

Onew looked up at Key, his face stufed with chicken and rice. "I'm kind of busy right now. Taemin ah, can you do it for me?"

"Hyung, you're so bossy...but i'll do it because I want to look responsible and caring to Chin noona." He smiled widely, causing Chin to laugh.

As Taemin entered their room to get his phone, Minho called out, "Why pretend to be someone you're not, Taemin? Just because there's a pretty girl here, ah. I have you figured out!" 

The whole table burst into laughter, causing Taemin to run to Minho. He punched him on his right arm, but Minho didn't even flinch.

Minho ruffled up Taemin's hair then commented, "Go work out for about a two months, then you can come back and punch me. Maybe by then, i'll actually feel something." 

Chin giggled and then remarked, "Hey, back away from Taemin, okay? At least he's being a good member, not like some people." She then turned to Minho and then did mehrong.

"Okay okay, I'll go and call manager hyung," Minho replied, jokingly sulking. "You, come with me." He grabbed Taemin's hand and dragged him into the kitchen.

"Alright, I'm done eating!" Onew finally put down his spoon and fork after ten minutes of holding them up. "Oh, we better hurry up and go, we still have to pass by the SM building to rehearse for a bit before heading over to the radio show."

"What do we do about Jonghyun, hyung?" Key asked worriedly.

"Hmm." He turned to Chin and then asked, "Would it be too much to ask you to take care of Jonghyun while we're out? We just need someone to make sure he drinks his medicine and all of that. Is that okay?"

Key raised his eyebrow and then added, "You wouldn't happen to have plans for today, would you?"

Chin laughed and then answered them both, "Are you kidding me? I have a contract that ties me to you five for the next two and a half months. Being around you is what I have to do. Plans with other people is just a dream for me now."

Onew turned to Key and commented, "That's a yes, right?"

"Jongyun oppa? Can I come in?"

Chin slowly walked inside their bedroom holding a bowl with water and ice cubes in her right hand, and a small towel in her left. 

Jonghyun called out from his bed, which was on the top of the bunk bed, "Ne, of course. What's up?" 

She climbed up to his bed and sat down at the edge. She soaked the towel with the freezing cold water and answered, "I need to put this on your forehead so that your temperature will go down."

He smiled and then replied, "You don't need to do this. You can just leave this here then I will do it myself."

"You technically took care of me the other night, so I will do the same for you now. Don't worry, this is really okay with me!" 

She took out the towel, wrapped it neatly and then placed it on his forehead. 

"It's really cold, Chin!" He tried removing it but she kept pushing it back. "That's how it's supposed to be! It's supposed to lower your body temperature because you're really hot right now..."

"Thank you. Especially now that I'm just wearing a tank top, I must be too hot for you to handle." He grinned widely, causing Chin to dip her hand in the water and splashing some on his face. 

"Simmer down, oppa. I don't want to have to get down from this bed just to get more water and ice."

Jonghyun handed her the towel, indicating that she had to soak it again. She did this for about thirty minutes, until she noticed that he was starting to fall asleep. 

She dipped the the towel one last time, placed it on his head, and then made her way down his bed. On her way down, she noticed a small picture peeking out from under Onew's pillow. When she got down, she looked up at Jonghyun just to be sure that he was asleep, then she slowly pulled out the picture. At the sight of the photo, Chin slightly teared up. Suddenly, a rush of memories played in her head. 

She turned to the back of the photo, read what was written, and then slid the photo back in it's original place. She stood in place for about five minutes before she quietly walked out of the room.

Those two crazy people at the back weren't supposed to be a part of this picture! Aigoo~ well anyway, here i am with our best girl friend in the entire world, Chin Sung Bae ^^
