Jongin wakes up with a grunt and to the shrieks of high pitched laughter echoing off the walls. It takes him a couple of seconds to realize that there’s a pair of feet jumping up and down on his back and that you’re laughing by his side as you slowly wake up too.

"Daddy," your daughter calls as she leans up to fist at Jongin’s hair and tug. You let out another laugh as you hear his groan before opening your eyes and watching Jongin wrestle her gently onto the bed and tickle her. Your other daughter is there, grinning and watching from the foot of the bed before crawling up to press a kiss to your cheek.

"Good morning mommy," she says. You laugh and whisper the words back before hooking her playfully over your shoulder and heading out of the room. "What should we have for breakfast," you call as you playfully rock her.

She’s a bit bigger now, taller, but with time everyone ages and she’s already nearing the age of four.

"Pancakes mama," she says and you hear Jongin scramble out of the room after you with your other daughter in his arms. "Yeah mama, pancakes," he playfully mocks but your daughter really can’t tell, she’s three.

Your oldest daughter laughs and when you both drop them down onto the couch, it’s the first time that morning that you actually greet each other.
