All I could do right now was to pace around and panic at the slightest sounds. Sungjong had brought me to a deserted warehouse in God-knows-where and left to hopefully find something for me to eat while he goes hunting at the same time.

I pulled my knees up to my chest and hyperventilated in fear, *Sungjong, please come back to me safely. I really cannot bear to lose you.* I sat there and prayed hard for Sungjong to be back as soon as possible, I didn't care if he brought me food or not, all that mattered is that he was with me. The sky was getting darker as time passes and it has gotten very much colder. I wrapped the jacket Chunji gave me around myself tighter and curled up into a ball around a corner. With a thousand thoughts running through my mind, tears involuntarily rolled down my cheeks.

My lips trembled as sobs started to break out. Suddenly, a loud thud was heard and loud breathing after that. My wet eyes rounded as a panting Sungjong appeared and settled down beside me. I grabbed his face, "Oh god, what happened?!" I asked, worried. Sungjong caressed my hands that were on his cheeks, "I'm fine, I'm sorry. I was chased by a few of the King's soldiers so I wasn't able to get you any food." He couldn't bear to look at me in the eyes as tears filled my eyes all over again.

"It's alright, I don't care about food. But you got chased by the soldiers?! Are you alright? Did they hurt you? Are they going to find us here?!" I bombarded him
