Standing in the middle of a grand hotel lobby, dressed to the nines in a fitting crimson velvet dress that was purchased in a rush just the day before, was an idiot called me. I don't know about you but I'm typically the type of person who would take lazing around at home watching Netflix and snacking on Lay's all day over fancy dinners any time. I squirmed uneasily, wishing for the ground to swallow me up as people walk past me while throwing glances my way, *Great, I must look a fool being out here by myself.*

Tonight was the annual dinner of the company I loyally worked at since graduation from university, which I have never bothered to attend the past few years until some fool said we should switch things up and get out a little. *Where the heck is Kevin when you need him the most?!* That's right, that fool is my best friend, Kevin Woo.
