Can you actually believe it? I'm really right here, listening to these vampires explain to me how I'm their soulmate. "And... You're a half-vampire." The guy I remembered named Ricky stated as my jaws dropped, I gaped at them, "Oh come on, you guys! You can't expect me to believe that now. Look, I get it. You're all vampires, I believe you now but this? This is a bit too much, alright?" They looked so serious I began laughing, pretending to wipe a fake tear while they frowned at me disapprovingly.
"This isn't a joke. I understand that this is probably a lot to take in but we assure you that everything we're telling you is the truth." I blinked and furiously shook my head in disbelief, "What, you're serious? N-no... How is that possible? Me? V-vampire?" I stuttered as L.Joe cut in, "Ever wondered why your mother died before even giving birth to you? It's because you're half vampire and you've consumed all the nutrients in her body. She was only human. She wasn't strong enough so she died."
The realisation slowly starts to sink in as I felt tears b in my eyes, *If what he said is true, that would mean I killed my own mother.* I clasped a hand over my mouth and blinked the tears away, having a hard time believing that was how my mother died. Niel placed a cold hand on my shoulder and gave me what I assumed to be a comforting squeeze. I nodded at him in gratitude, putting my head in my hands as I digested this new piece of information.
"You are the first half-vampire to ever exist on this planet and because of that, you are wanted by all evil creatures out there. Every blood-thirsty animal out there will die just to have a taste of your unique blood. Your father didn't believe it was safe enough for you to be with him, there were already other vampires after him ever since he's broken the number one vampire rule that is falling in love with a mortal." L.Joe finished. I stared at all six of them with a raised eyebrow, expecting further elaboration.
