Soojung's POV

My knees got weak as we entered the airport hall. It seems like the world divided into two. One side are screaming their support for Amber and me, banners saying that homouality is not a sin and on the other side there were banner saying how sinners like us should die. My ears got red at their words, names they are calling Amber. My feet froze as I saw the crowd, hates in their eyes, hatred in their words.

Amber grabbed my wrist and pulled me with her. Her action made the contraside madder and they start throwing things at us. Amber pulled me closer, protecting me from the objects they were throwing at us and it made them furious.

I scream as Amber fell to the ground, holding her head, blood tricking from the temple.

“Am..” I knelt in front of her.

“I'm okay” she said, comforting me and got back up.

“YOU !”

“DYKE!”

More names are coming from their mouths. Amber ignored them and took my hand to leave the spot.

I screamed as a guy managed to break through the barricade, slammed Amber to the ground and punched her hard on the face.

"You're the one responsible making Soojung like this! Now die!”

“NO!”

And there hell erupted. The police had to build a barricade to prevent the people throwing themselves against each other.

My fear of losing Amber is bigger than my fear of the crowd, I pulled the guy who was punching her in the face. My adrenaline gave me enough strength to pull him away and I slapped him in the face.

“WHY ONLY HER?! Why are you blaming only her? Why are you calling her names and not me?”

The guy was shocked, he stuttered at first as he answered “Because you are not one of them. This is all her fault. That..That lesbian forced you into all this” He pointed to Amber.

The crowd stopped fighting and all attention went to us.

“FORCED?!” I was shaking because anger and I was crying and screaming at the same time “I LOVE HER! And just because you or half population of the world can't accept the fact that same can fall in love with each other won't make me love her less!”

The crowd didn't make any sound anymore, everybody's eyes were on me. I don't care anymore, I'm tired to prejudice, of all this hatred. “If you don't remember let me freshened your mind, I was the one who confessed my love first. Remember?”

“It's her influence. You are not a lesbian, you are normal. Unlike her...”

“WHY? Why am I normal and she's not? Because of her appearance? Just because I dressed 'normal' like you said, doesn't make me any less gayer than she is”

“Let it go, Krys. They won't listen no matter what you say” Amber said

“But it's so unfair”

“Just ignore them” she said.

I hung my head low as I followed her steps. Why can't they understand? Amber didn't let go of my hand on our way to the press conference.

As we got there, Vic Unnie hugged us both and said “Be strong”

We both nodded. Amber kissed me on the forehead before she said “Are you ready?”

I took a deep breath before I slowly nodded.

“I'm by your side”

“I know” I said “And I believe in us”

She smiled “I love you”

“Love you too”
