“ Beach? Why so sudden? “ Kyuhyun asked the person in the other line while flipping the channels on the television.

“ I don’t know. He just randomly called this morning and invited us. Oh, and one more thing, he said that you could bring your lover if you want. “ those were the last lines Kibum told him before hanging up. He sighed as he put his phone down. After some seconds, he opened his phone again, typed a messageand pressed send.

These past few days, he’s been feeling weird whenever he’s around or just by simply thinking about a certain person. And yes, that is Kim Ryeowook. His bestfriend’s boyfriend. The one that he met in a very not so friendly way. And yet, here he is. Feeling something un-appropriate for him. He mentally cursed as he ruffled his hair. He never thought about this before but since their last meeting which was yesterday, the reality bought some sense to his head. They’re just acting. ACTING. Well, that was he’s plan form the very start but as things progress, he felt his self-falling and wanting someone else rather than gaining Sungmin again.

He ruffled his hair again. He needs someone to talk to or else he’ll go insane. It’s like miracle answered his prayers, his phone rings. He picked it up without looking at the screen.

“ hey bro! what’s up? “  the person on the other line happily said which made Kyuhyun’s eyes opened wide and heartbeats faster.

…… Eunhyuk.

Ryeowook is busy preparing their dinner when his phone rang, signaling a message has arrived.

“ Do you want me to check it for you? “ Key asked as he eyed and holds the phone while reading whom it came from.

“ Who is it? “ Ryeowook asked while stirring.

“ It’s from ‘ The annoying person in the world. ‘ Who is this? “ Key asked as he looked up. Ryeowook’s eyes grew big and immediately grabbed the phone like a ninja that made Key startled.

“ What was that? “ he asked as he blinked and look at his hand and back at Ryeowook. “ Since when did you have ninja powers? “ he asked seriously.

“ H-uh? Nothing. “ Ryeowook answered, hiding the phone behind his back. Key eyed him suspiciously and smirked.

“ Let me guess. It’s that Kyuhyun guy, isn’t it? “

“ N-no! What makes you say that?! “ Ryeowook answered defensively which made Key’s smirk widen.

“ Oh nothing~ Hey, call me when dinner is ready~ “ Key said as he stood up from the chair and went to his room.

Ryeowook sighed and opened the message.

From: The annoying person in the world

Hey, are you free this Saturday? Sungmin invited us to the beach. :)

Ryeowook smiled while typing a reply. The rest of the night, the smile on Ryeowook’s face didn’t leave until he falls asleep…

“ Hey, are you alright? “ his bestfriend’s worried voice woke him up from his trance. Kyuhyun put his phone away from his ear and gulped. When he’s sure that his voice is okay, he put it back to his ear.

“ Hey. Yeah, I’m fine. What makes you call? “ he said, nervousness is quite evident but not that obvious.

“ Why?Can’t your bestfriend call whenever he likes? Haha How are you? “Eunhyuk said, oblivious to Kyu’s nerousness.

“ You only when you need something. What is it? “ Kyu answered back, his nervousness eased. Why was he nervous anyway?

“ You know me too well. Haha well, I need you help for something.. “

“ What is it? “

“ You’ll help me? “

“ What is it first? “

Eunhyuk sighed on the other line. Kyuhyun heard him cleared his throat before answering.

“ I will propose to Ryeowook when I get home. “ Kyuhyun stiffened. His heart is like being clenched. He wasn’t able to hear Eunhyuk’s plans for he is holding his chest. It hurts. It really hurts.

“ …… so, what do you think? “Eunhyuk asked after saying his plans.

“ H-uh? “ was his only reply. He can’t think straight right now.

“ Aish. Are you even listening to me? You’re such a great friend. Anyway, I’ll just discuss it to you when I get back there. “

“ When will you get back? “ Kyuhyun immediately asked.

“ Soon my friend. It’s a surprise. Haha oh, I need to go now. See you soon! “

“ Wait! “ but it was late. The other line has already disconnected.  He mentally cursed for the second time that night. He was about to throw his phone away when it vibrated, indicating a message.

And Cho Kyuhyun  smiled. Atleast something good happened tonight. He made his way towards his bed. Right before closing his eyes, he reads the text message again.

Sure! See you.  :)

With all the not so good things happened this night, he was still able to sleep with a smile on his face. Thanks to a certain Kim Ryeowook.
