He hugged her from behind, wrapping his arms around her in an embrace, his final plea of desperation. "Please, just give me a chance."

 

Amber looked down at the keys in her hand, her heart shaped keychain missing from the bundle. Her lips pulled into a smirk as she thought about how the smartass, jerkface, son of a gun, Kim Myungsoo had stolen it from her and somehow even managed to steal the real thing in the process. 

 

She didn't know when it happened, but she had fallen for her enemy. His devilish grin grew on her. His piercing gaze made her feel vulnerable. And his words, his soft sweet sultry voice, in all its entirety, including the snide remarks, left an impression on the poor girl. No matter how much she had denied it, it hit her. She was in love with him. 

 

Amber exhaled sharply as she laid a gentle hand on his arm and turned around to face him. She looked at him with gentle eyes, guilt stricken for ever unintentionally leading him on. "Daniel, I'm sorry but I can't. I can't give you what is no longer mine."
