It ends between us, but it stays in my heart forever.
“Excuse me, miss,” Rosé talked to receptionist.
“Yes?”
“When will he finished meeting? I’ve waited for 3 hours now. If he’s not going to finish anytime soon, I’ll come back again tomorrow. Please deliver this message to him,” Rosé told the receptionist lady.
“I understand. Let me inform him first,” the receptionist lady excuse herself.
The receptionist lady came out five minutes later wearing a worried face, walking towards Rosé.
“Erm Ms. Park, Mr. Jungkook asks you to wait until he finished…erm meeting. If you leave, he’ll withdraw from your company,” tells the receptionist lady, looking uneasy.
“He did not have a meeting right? He deliberately want me to wait for him right? Okay fine!” Rosé grunting.
“You’ll…wait?” asks the receptionist lady.
“Nope! I, myself withdraw from your company. We don’t need childish and inconsiderate client like your boss,” rage Rosé.
Rosé was about to leave the office when someone called on her.
“Rosé-shi…”
Rosé turned around.
“You sure you want to leave now?” Jungkook was standing, leaning on his office door, wearing a cynical smile while holding Rosé’s phone that she has been looking for since afternoon.
Rosé frowns.
“Where did you get those?” she asks.
Jungkook smirked and walks inside his office room. Rosé followed.
“What are you trying to play, Mr. Jeon?” Rosé asks as she entered his room.
“Shouldn’t it be me who ask you that? What are you trying to pull, Chaeyoung-shi?” Jungkook questioned her back.
“I’m Rosé,” Rosé firmly replied.
Jungkook smirked.
“Your phone password is Chaeyoung’s birthday and you’re saying you’re not Chaeyoung?” Jungkook put the phone on his table.
“It could be that mine and your Chaeyoung’s birthday is the same date?” says Rosé.
Jungkook looked at Rosé in her eyes.
“The first one year after leaving you’re looking for a job but couldn’t get through any of the first preliminary interviews was because you’re using your real name, Park Chaeyoung and just so you know I blacklisted your name. That’s how you did not past any interviews. Now that you change your name to Roséanne Park, you simply secured a job at your current company, your final choice for two years already. And, what were you saying? You and Chaeyoung might share the same birthday date? Then, how do you explain the contrary birthday date in your profile? Could it be you’re tricking your company now?” Jungkook talked in a serious tone.
“You did a check up on my background?” Rosé’s voice trembled.
Jungkook smiled cynically.
“Why did you lie about not being Chaeyoung? Huh?” Jungkook asks.
“I never said I’m not Chaeyoung, I only said I’m Rosé,” Rosé grasp her fist tight.
Jungkook laugh loudly.
“Who are you trying to fool girl? Everything about you are only at my fingertips,” Jungkook proudly saying.
Rosé smirked.
“You sure?”
Jungkook look at her, confused. His eyebrows twitched.
“I leave? Tsk.”
Rosé took her phone back on the table and walks out of the office, leaving Jungkook flustered.

“I won’t lose my job right?”
Rosé ruffled her own hair in frustration. “Arghhhh.”
She sighed heavily.
“What did I do? What have you done, Park Chaeyoung?!!!” she cried.
(phone ringing)
“Yes?” Rosé answered the phone.
“Have you finished work? Can you come to my café for a while?” It’s Jisoo.
“I just finished. Is anything wrong?” Rosé asks.
“Nothing’s wrong. I just needed you to look after the café while I’m out for a while. I have to meet someone. Jennie’s at her boutique and Lisa have work to do. It’s really important for me to meet that person but no one’s to look after the café,” Jisoo explained.
“Okay Jisoo unnie, I’ll be there in a while. Jiyeon’s there too right?” Rosé agreed.
“Yeah she’s here. Sleeping at the back,” said Jisoo.
“Alright, I’ll be there in 20 minutes.”
