Chapter 9

Yuri struggled to carry Yoona to her room.

“Why are you so heavy” Yuri whined.

Finally, they reached to Yoona’s bedroom as the latter dropped the drunk girl on the bed.

Yuri sighed in exhaustion.

“Yuri-ah” Yoona called.

“What do you want” She sat beside the wasted girl, “You said you stopped going out clubbing”

“Well you said I should do something since you didn’t want me to follow you around”

“Aigoo..” Yuri shook her head.

Yoona sat up, “Yuri-ah”

“Hm?”

“Saranghae”

Yoona made a heart with her hands as Yuri chuckled.

“Piss off”

“I said I love you” Yoona yelled.

“Yoona be quiet, everyone is sleeping right now”

Yoona then made a heart with her arms above her head.

Yuri chuckled again, “Really?”

Yoona didn’t respond right away and just gazed at the girl sitting in front of her.

“...Mmmh”

She then proceeded to move her head closer towards Yuri, but stopped midway and giggled.

“Yoona, you’re really dru..”

Yoona cuts her words off with a quick peck on the lips.

Yuri was speechless, her eyes had widened with slightly opened.

Yoona could only sit there and stupidly smile while the latter had finally come to a realization that Yoona just kissed her.

“Yah!” Yuri yelled.

However, the drunk girl had already fallen asleep.

Yuri pulled the blanket over the drunk girl’s shoulder and left the room.

Inside Yuri’s room, she was disgusted with the kiss earlier.

“Yoona’s lip touched mine” She wiped .

“Who knows how many people she has kissed”

“Ughh!! She stole my first kiss! Who does she think she is?” Yuri punched her pillow angrily.

The Next Day

Yuri noticed Yoona came downstairs from her room with a hangover. She immediately tried to avoid her, but of course, she wasn’t able to outdone Yoona.

“Morning Yuri,” Yoona said with her hand on her head.

“Morning Yoona” Yuri quickly faced the other way.

“Something wrong?”

“Nope” She minded her business.

“I just have this crazy headache” Yoona groaned.

“Are you alright?”

“Yeah, could you get me some pills?”

“Sure, I’ll be back in a second” She hurried away.

Before she came back to Yoona, she took a deep breath and controlled herself.

“Here you go” Yuri looked down when she handed the medicine.

Yoona took her hand as the latter got an instant reaction.

“And your water..”

“Thank you” She swallowed the medicine.

Yoona felt something was strange.

“Why aren’t you looking at me”

“What do you mean?” Yuri didn’t dare to look up.

Yoona grabbed Yuri’s arm and cupped her face. There was a slight second where they both looked into each other’s eyes.

“Yah!” Yuri took Yoona’s hand off of her. Yoona chuckled.

It was silence until Yuri decided to ask, “Do you remember what happened last night?” She slowly said.

Yoona took a while before answering.

“No, what happened?”

Yuri started to turn red, “Oh it was nothing. I just took you to your bed and that’s all”

“Oh really? Thanks again”

“No worries” She awkwardly smiled.

Thank god she doesn’t remember. -Yuri thought

Inside The Office

“I know you girls have been working hard for our business,” The father said.

“Yes, and we wanted to give you two a little vacation” The mother finished.

“Really Appa, Umma?” Yonna happily exclaimed.

They both nodded.

Tiffany squealed, “I’m so excited, where are we going?”

“Is Los Angeles fine with you two?” The mother asked.

“Yes, I’m okay with that” Tiffany replied.

“Actually, I wanted to go to..”

Tiffany slapped Yoona’s arm, “Yah!” Yoona cried out.

“Be grateful”

Yoona sighed.  

“Could I bring someone at least?” Yoona asked.

“Who is it?” Her father said.

“Yuri”

“Yuri?!” Tiffany exclaimed.

“I mean, she’s been working really hard as well so I’m fine with that” The mother accepted.

“Why do you want to bring Yuri?” Tiffany asked.

“Why can’t I? She’s my best friend” Yoona smirked.

“Excuse me, I was friends with her first, and she’s my best friend”

“Not anymore” The girl stuck her tongue out.

Tiffany rolled her eyes.

After their meeting, Yoona rushed out of the room to find Yuri.

“Yuri-ah” Yoona called.

Yuri’s eyes immediately widened.

Ah crap, what does this girl want from me now? -Yuri thought

“Yuri!” Yoona called again.

“Over here” Yuri replied.

“Good news!”

“What is it?” Yuri was very uninterested.

“We’re going on vacation!” She tried to make it seem more engaging.

“Where?”

“L.A.”

“I think I’m fine”

“What do you mean?!”

“I’m not going”

“Why?” Yoona’s excitement had turned off.

“I don’t wanna go with you”
