Chapter 17

Yuri blocked Yoona’s phone number and got rid of everything that had to do with that girl. After she was finished, Yuri was searching through her closet for an outfit and came across the hoodie Yoona had given her. She took it out and placed it on her chair.

That evening, Yoona was working out in their gym. She was running on the treadmill and almost tripped while she got a call from Jessica.

“Hello?” Yoona said as she lowered the speed.

“Hey, let’s go out for dinner”

“Right now?”

“Yes”

Yoona secretly didn’t feel like going out, but how could she refuse over food.

“Okay, I’ll meet you there at 7”

“Great, see you”

Yoona took a refreshing shower and changed her clothes. She sprayed some perfume, then headed out to her car.

Yoona entered the restaurant and scanned the place.

“Welcome Miss, a table for how many?” The waiter asked.

He suddenly had a shocking expression as he noticed it was Im Yoona.

Yoona smiled back, “I’m actually here with a friend of mine”

She eventually found the person she was looking for and approached her.

“Hey” Yoona took a seat.

Jessica looked up with a pleasant smile.

“You finally came”

“Here are your menus” The waiter diligently handed out.

“How long were you waiting for?” Yoona opened the menu.

“Just a couple of minutes”

“I’m actually starving”

“Pfft, since when are you not” She exclaimed.

“I just finished working out. This time I have a reason to be”

“Then you’re in for a treat” Jessica grinned.

The food came out and Yoona was excessively drooling.

“Go ahead,” Jessica said.

“You’re not going to eat?”

“Of course I am, don’t be such a fatass” She teased as the latter pouted.

It was quiet while they were eating.

“How’s Yuri” Jessica broke the silence.

“Oh her” Yoona rolled her eyes, “She’s upset and is apparently dating my sister”

Jessica began to laugh.  

“It’s actually not funny” Yoona was serious.

Jessica slowly stopped.

“I don’t know why, but it hurts seeing them together”

“You’re definitely jealous”

“Maybe..”

“You like her don’t you”

“No, it’s just… I feel bad”

“What do you think was going to happen? You knew it would eventually end”

“...I know”

“C’mon cheer up” Jessica placed some food on the latter’s plate.

“I can’t stop thinking about her” Yoona admitted.

“Just forget about her, it’s not like you dated her for more than a year”

“Yeah, you’re right. Whatever” Yoona continued to eat.

After their dinner, Jessica invited the latter to her house.

“What do you want to do?” Yoona asked.

“Watch a movie?”

“Sure”

“Pick a movie on Netflix and I’ll go make some popcorn”

“Okay”

Jessica came back with a bowl of popcorn and 2 cans of beer.

“Here you go” She handed out.

“Thank you”

They sat on the couch and shared a blanket together.

Just a couple of minutes into the movie and Jessica was already irritated by Yoona’s chewing.

“Yah! Can you shut up, I’m trying to watch the movie”

“Sorry” Yoona chewed louder as the latter was about to blow up.

Yoona was very engaged in the movie until Jessica placed her head on the girl’s shoulder.

“You mind if I do this?” Jessica asked.

“No, not at all”

“This reminds me of the good old days we had before”

“It really does”

“You’re still wearing that fragrance I still adore”

“I knew you would like it”

“Oh you know me so well”

They both smiled at each other.

“You still want that special treat for winning the bet?”

“Yeah? What is it?”

Jessica took her head off the latter’s shoulder and proceeded to transition on the girl’s lap. She wrapped her arms around Yoona’s neck.
