Chapter 15

The week has gone by as Yoona completely forgot about the bet. Yoona was on her phone while watching a movie until she received a message from Jessica.

“We got a pool party tomorrow, your coming right?’ Jessica texted.

“Yeah, is it alright if I bring Yuri along?”

“Sure”

“Good, I’ll see you then”

Yoona then decided to text Yuri, but the girl didn’t answer.

Aish, why isn’t she replying. -Yoona thought

Yoona lazily got out of her room and looked for the girl instead. She found the girl eating on the kitchen table.

“Yuri, you wanna come with me to a friend’s pool party?”

“Pool party?”

“Yeah”

“I don’t even know anyone there though”

“I’ll be there”

“I’ll go if you go then” Yuri slowly said.

“Great! Finally, you guys are going to meet each other”

Yuri gave an unpleasant smile.

The Next Day

“Do I look good?” Yuri asked.

“You look gorgeous as always”

“Thank you” Yuri pecked the latter’s cheek.

“Did you bring a swimsuit?”

“I won’t be swimming”

“How come?”

“I don’t want to get wet”

Yoona smirked.

“What?” Yuri was baffled.

“Nothing, let’s go” She laughed and took the latter’s hand.

I really don’t want to go to this pool party, but since Yoona invited me, I guess I will. Maybe it won’t be so bad, it’s good to try something new, right? -Yuri thought.

At The Party

The couple walked in while holding hands.

“Hey, girls” Yoona waved.

“I’ll be right back”

Yoona left for the bathroom.

Jessica stood up and took off her glasses.

She approached the girl, “She’s still dating you?” Jessica asked all of a sudden.

“Excuse me?”

“It’s already been a week, you’re done”

Yuri was lost but was able to predict where it was going towards.

“You’re just a bet”

Yuri stood there confused wondering if she heard correctly. She came to a realization and walked away feeling upset as Jessica chuckled with the others. Yoona came out and noticed Yuri was gone.

“What happened?” Yoona asked her friends.

She couldn’t wait for a response and chased after the girl.

“Yuri wait” Yoona turned her around.

“Am I just a bet to you?” She asked in disbelief.

Yoona didn’t answer.

“And for all this time, I really thought you loved me..” Tears rushed down the latter’s face.

She held Yuri’s hand, “...I do love you”

Yuri harshly pushed her hand and tried walking away as she was stopped again.

“Yuri, please listen to me”

“I don’t want to hear a single word you say anymore” Yuri last quoted before she ran off. Yoona stood there dumbfounded.

She eventually walked back to the girls.

“Did you guys tell her?” Yoona asked angrily.

“What? It’s not our fault. We thought you already broke up with her” Sooyoung shrugged.

“The bet already ended” Jessica added.

“I don’t give a about the bet anymore”

“Why are you so mad? Don’t tell me you actually like her” The others got a wake-up call.

Yoona furiously walked out and drove back to the mansion.

Yuri was sobbing when she entered the mansion.

“You’re not like most girls out there”

“That’s what I like about you” Yuri remembered which made the poor girl cry even harder.

Tiffany was in the kitchen as she noticed Yuri was upset and proceeded to follow the girl to her room.

“Yuri, are you alright?” Tiffany asked worriedly as she knocked on the door.

“Y-Yes..”

“Can I come in?”

“Yeah..” She sniffed and dried off her face.

Tiffany opened the door.

“What happened to you?” Tiffany softly said and went to hug the girl.

Yuri sniffed again while trying to control her tears.

“..Y-Yoon..” Yuri could barely speak.

“It’s okay, take your time” Tiffany caressed her back.

“Yoona..” She finally said as tears cam
