Chapter 11

“Yuri, could we go out today?” Yoona asked.

“Why? So I can watch out for your safety again?” Yuri teased.

“No” Yoona chuckled, “I wanted to spend a little time together”

“We already did yesterday”

“You weren’t having fun so it doesn’t count”

“What about the other two?”

“They can hang out with themselves, let’s go”

Inside Yoona’s car,

“Where are we going?” Yuri asked.

“To the beach”

“Didn’t I already tell you I didn’t bring a swimsuit?”

“Who said we were swimming?”

“Then what are we doing?”

“You’ll see”

After they arrived at the beach, they strolled together towards the ocean.

They walked into the water and got splashed by the waves, “Ahh!!” Yoona screamed.

Yuri chuckled and bent down, “Here it comes”

The two were happily playing in the water.

It was a while of goofing around until they were a bit exhausted.

“I’m all wet now,” Yoona said as another wave came crashing on the latter again.

“Ahhhh!!!” Yoona screamed louder than before as Yuri laughed.

The wet girl walked away from the water.

“Come back” Yuri called, but Yoona stood there stubbornly shaking her head.

“Let’s build a sand castle instead” She suggested.

“Okay” Yuri walked towards the latter.

“Best looking one wins,” Yoona said.

“What about the loser?”

“Pays for dinner”

“Deal” The two girls began to construct their sand castles.

“I’m done” Yoona finished first.

“Wait! Give me a bit more time”

“Why should I? Your castle already looks like a pile of shi..”

A kid accidentally stepped on Yuri’s sand castle as he was playing tag with his friends.

“Hey..” Yuri said disappointingly.

“Damn it, I really wanted to win” She stood up.

Yoona felt bad, “Aish, what a rude little kid”

“I know right, but it’s whatever”

“I’ll pay”

“What do you mean? I lost”

“But it wasn’t fair”

“You sure?”

“Yeah”

“I mean if you want to pay then I’m not complaining” Yuri giggled and ran away.
“Yah! Come back here”

Yoona quickly chased after Yuri. She eventually caught up and hugged the latter extremely tight.

“Where do you think you’re going?” Yoona smirked as they both cutely chuckled.

“The sun is setting, let’s go eat”

Yuri nodded but realized the latter hadn’t let go of her yet.

“Are you going to let go of me?” Yuri shyly asked.

Yoona quickly released Yuri out of her arms, “Sorry” They both blushed.

At the restaurant, Yuri was eating like Yoona.

“Are you that hungry?” She smiled unbelievably.

“Yes”

“Did you have fun today?”
“Surprisingly, yeah” Yuri admitted.

“I did too” They both smiled at each other.

After their dinner, the waiter placed their bill on the table.

Yoona quickly grabbed it, “I’ll pay”

“No, but I lost the bet”

“It was completely unfair”

“It’s okay, I’ll pay”

“But I insist, I asked you out so I should pay”

The waiter stood there annoyingly watching those two girls fight over the bill.

“Ahem..” The waiter finally spoke.

“I’m so sorry, here take it” Yoona gave him her credit card.

“Noo!!” Yuri grabbed the latter’s arm, but she had already succeeded.

Yuri sighed.

“How about you make up for it,” Yoona said.

“And what is that?”

“I’ll tell you in the car”

“Okay?” She thought suspiciously.

Tiffany and Taeyeon were still at the hotel.

“I can’t believe those girls left without us,” Taeyeon said as the latter chuckled.

“It’s okay, now we have an excuse to hang out with just the two of us”

“We don’t need an excuse to hang out” Taeyeon blushed.

Tiffany delightfully smiled, “You’re right, where do you want to go?”

“I’m not that familiar with America, so I don’t know”

“Hmm.. you said you liked singing right? Let’s go karaoke”

“Actually? I would love that”

“Of course you would” They both grinned.

At the karaoke lounge,

“This place is huge for just the two of us,” Taeyeon said in amazement.

“The bigger the better, what would you like to sing?” Tiffany said as she scrolled through the song playlist.

“I’m not sure, you can go first”

Tiffany played a song and happily stood up.

She began to sing as Taeyeon was exceptionally thrilled that she was watching Tiffany sing live for her. Tiffany finished the song she sang and sat back next to the latter.

“How was it?” Tiffany asked.

“Amazing! You have such a gorgeous voice”

“Thank you Taeyeon-ah, now it’s your turn”

“Oh I..”

“Don’t be shy, show me what you’ve got” She handed the microphone.

“I mean if you say so” Taeyeon searched for a song and began to sing.

As Taeyeon sang, Tiffany admired the girl’s voice.
