It’s already 11:30pm but Nayeons still awake sitting on the couch in the living room waiting for this certain someone to arrive. All of her band mates are already sleeping.  She’s about to go to the kitchen to get some water when the person she’s waiting finally arrived.

“Finally you’re home” She said

“Nayeonie why are you still awake?”

“Where have you been? It’s almost 12am my birthday will end soon and you’re still not wishing me a happy birthday.”

“I left your gift and card on your bed last night before you go to your parents’ house. I even greeted you on katalk.”

“But I want you to wish me in person. I want to spend my birthday with but you’re not here when I got back after doing serendipity 2.” She can hear the light sob from nayeon.

“Come here” Jeongyeon called her and Nayeon approach the younger girl .Jeongyeon held nayeons face then wipe the older girl tears.

“Seungyeon Unnie needed me earlier and you know I can’t say no to her. I’m sorry Nayeonie stop crying it’s still your birthday so you should be happy”

“Your jokes are still not funny Jeong” Jeongyeon chuckled.

She took her phone out together with her earphones in her coat pocket and searches for something. She put one earphone in her ear and the other one to nayeon.  After finding what she’s looking she press the play button then put her phone back to her pocket, “Can I have this dance” she extended her left hand to nayeon

Nayeon gladly accept it.

Jeongyeon put Nayeons hands on her nape then her hands on the older girls waist.  She pulled Nayeon closer to her.

Forehead to forehead they are following the rhythm of the music eyes closed enjoying the song.
