Bury Him
Golden Quill - The Leaders (GQ3)The control room of the Song Country House was located in the attic. September logged into the system and pulled up an aerial view of the estate onto the big screen. Everyone studied it all asking the same question, where was a good place to bury a body? September used a laser pen to indicate the forest, “Obvious choice. I’m sure this won’t be the first dead body.”
“So, he’ll have company?” Haneul quipped.
Sung-kyung approached the map, “what’s this up here?”
Everyone peered at the map. It looks like another set of buildings.
“No, not buildings, graves.” Arran shook her head, “Halmeoni told me it was where some of our ancestors are buried. Of course, now everyone is cremated.” She looked at September, “Isn’t it a little too creepy?”
September brought up the cameras of the area. The grass was neatly trimmed along the gravestones and there were flowers in small pots. The groundsmen were paid to keep the area maintained as part of the estate. They’d have to be careful not to make too much mess.
“It’s been done tons,” Haneul piped up, her big eyes shone behind her huge glasses. Sung-kyung snickered. “In movies…what?”
“Ani,” Arran raised hands, “You’re right it has been done before but that’s why it will work. It technically counts as protected land. There is a mountain of legislature and miles of red tape involved with touching the site so even if anything is found one day, we’d probably be long dead by that time. See my job does teach us things,” she said proudly.
“Great to know.” Sung-kyung muttered. “Okay so we burry Park Minjun with one of your relatives. Doesn’t that mean we have to dig up someone’s grave?” she turned white.
“Here’s the plan.” September clapped her hands calling them to attention. September was worried that they were starting to take things too lightly. Maybe they were in shock, Arran included. But they needed to move fast. She’d already put a lock on the main gate. And set the alarm sensors to monitor the perimeter for any movement. Now they wouldn't have any surprises without her knowing. “It’s going to be a long day so prepare for that. We’re spending the night here, so those of you who need to make your excuses to whoever, do it during the course of the day. Make it sound natural. Tell them that you’re spending the day with each other on finalis
