Chapter 16 - At the grocery store

"No way,” Ara gasped, following Kyungsoo and Tao inside the grocery store. Sehun and Kai entered behind them, both rolling their eyes in annoyance.

“Never underestimate werewolf speed,” Luhan sing-sang, pulling out a cart with a little help from Lay. Kris and Chanyeol were smirking, already walking off into the huge building, and Ara presumed the rest were already inside.

“How did no one see you?” Ara asked, following Luhan. The boy shrugged, smirking.

“There’s too much forest here.” They were walking around the aisles, occasionally crashing into the other pack members. Sehun hit the cart twice, running off before Luhan could smack him on the head. Kai was nowhere to be seen, Ara figured he didn’t like such activities. 

But she was wrong when she entered the sweets aisle, eyes widening in surprise when Kai turned around with five different packs of donuts. 

His jaw clenched, eyes narrowing, and Ara quickly threw her hands up in surrender. Kai turned and walked away, but the corners of his lips twitched ever so slightly, and Ara felt her heart flutter in her chest.

“Hey, Ara, check this out!” Ara shook her head and quickly jogged towards the voice. Chanyeol was standing next to Chen, both staring in awe at a blue box in their hands. “It’s double filled!” Ara rolled her eyes at the Oreo packaging and started walking backwards.

“These have been here for like 4 months already, you’re a bit late!” She turned around and smacked straight into Lay
