Chapter I
FateKriiiing. Kriiiing.
The sound of alarm was filling the small room. A woman who was startled by it slowly reached her hand to the bedside table to stop it. Slowly rising from her sleep and opening her eyes, she immediately stood up after seeing the time on her clock. She's late. Again.
Still adjusting her eyes from the sun rays that was penetrating in the window, she went to the bathroom, almost tripping to the things that was scattered on the floor and quickly took a bath.
It was an everyday routine for a week now. Her work was taking a toll on her, sleeping almost midnight thus dozing off a little too long in the morning.
The woman, after wearing her suit decided to just take her time since she's already late.
Chorong's pov
Argh! I'm late again. I slept just two hours ago but I had to wake up and go to work again. By the way I'm Park Chorong, an architect working in YOON's firm. I am usually a morning person but I changed these past few months. I have two clients and I am having a hard time trying to come up with ideas of the design of the house that my client wants.
Walking through the door of my room, I went to the kitchen to grab my breakfast. Well, I'm already late even if I hurry it won't make a change. With a bread on my hand, I made my way to the door of my apartment.
After grabbing a taxi, I glanced outside the window and saw the towering heights of the buildings in seoul. It's just been two years since I moved here in korea.
Trying to find myself and wanting to be independent, I left new york.
I'm familiarized now with how people live their life in seoul. It's like new york except for that city doesn't sleep. It was always busy in the city, there's too much noise and I'm never fond of them. I'm glad that I've found my peace here in seoul.
