As I sat in the taxi on the way back to the rest of BTS, today's conversation at the hospital replayed in my head for the nth time already.

'Jungkook is like this because of you,' Namjoon looked up at Ara, his eyes and voice burning with anger. Namjoon was always proud and caring towards the maknae, Jungkook, but he was taking this too far.'You broke him, Kim Ar-'

'Yah,' I interrupted him without thinking and instinctively tightened my arm around Ara's shoulder. 'They broke up six months ago, how is this her fault?'

'Jungkook is like this because of a girl he broke up with half a year ago,' Taehyung butted in sarcastically. 'As if he still deserves her.'

'Ara, can you wait outside for a while,' I whispered to her. 

'I'll go with her,' Jin volunteered and walked her out into the corridor, a temporary escape from the horrible truth. 

'We all know he didn't do that on purpose,' Hoseok spoke up for the first time. 'He wouldn't.'

'Oh so he just accidentally made out with his girlfriend's best friend?' Taehyung responded, his voice sounding angrier and angrier.
 
I thanked and paid he driver before I walked through the familiar automatic doors of Bighit Entertainment.
