Lost Cause
Description
Lee Iseul had been forced to marry Lee Byunghun. She instantly loved him the moment she saw him. Call it love at first sight, but one thing for sure, she knew that Lee Byunghun was the one for her.
Call her delusional or whatever, she knew what she wanted. Him.
But that was something Byunghun would never give.
He treated Iseul like she wasn’t even there. As much as Iseul tried to be ok with it, keep a brave face, deep down, her insides turned in ways she never thought possible.
Byunghun would come and go as he pleased; brought his friends over, causing so much noise for her; left mess wherever he went just for Iseul to clean it up.
After six months, Iseul was done. She had had enough. It was bad enough to be treated crap by him, but his friends added to it, especially Kim Nara.
There was no point anymore, acting like a good wife when the one she loves was nowhere near being a good husband.

Foreword
Iseul woke up and stared up at the ceiling. She couldn’t find the will in her to get up. She knew what she would find downstairs: her drunken husband and his friends laid all over the floor and sofa, smelling like alcohol and smoke. Iseul fling the blanket off of her and swung her legs over the edge.
It was so quite. It was what she was used to. The silence was calming but depressing. There was no one she could really talk to. After those six months with Byunghun, she couldn’t find it herself to go out and pretend she was happy when really, she was anything but that.
She looked in the mirror to be met by a cold stare, from her. Lately, her expression had changed. Everything about her had changed. It was almost as if she didn’t care anymore.
But Iseul always knew that she would care for Byunghun, but could she find it in her, ever, to be able to show it again?
Or was Iseul and Byunghun’s marriage just a lost cause?
