The article popped up on my phone screen.
‘KIM MINGHEE AND JEON WONWOO HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED TO BE DATING!’
I cringed at the sight of our photos being put together in the article. I couldn’t help but think how much nicer it would’ve been to the fans if Mingyu was there instead of me. Everyone loved Mingyu but unfortunately, not everyone loved me. Immediately, I started getting messages on my SNS some growling threats, some covered with sobbing emoji and others simply stating that they would accept it because they wanted to respect Wonwoo/ Mingyu. Of course, the insults hurled at me outnumbered anything else and I wanted to cry so badly but I didn’t. Because crying would show weakness and weakness is not welcome to this part of the industry.
‘Heeyu! What are you doing in the cafeteria? It’s time for your first public appearance with me,’ yelled the irritating Wonwoo.
‘I know. You don’t have to remind me. I was just about to go out and my name isn’t Heeyu, it’s Minghee,’ I grumbled.
‘It sounds like ‘Hey You’ which is quite appropriate for this situation.’
‘Shut up. Let’s go,’ I said tiredly rising from the chair. I didn’t want to deal with someone who had took pleasure in annoying others and had no intellectual ability. Only say things when you know your clever enough think of a quick retort- that’s my rule for conversations.
The sooner this was over the better.
Throughout the whole walk to the supermarket, (with reporters ‘discreetly’ following them) Wonwoo was stunned by his own ability. Wow, did his teasing make her that obedient. He always knew the power of his words was great but he didn’t know they were so impactful a
