“Cheers!” Si-jin keeps one arm tightly wrapped around Mo-yeon’s slim waist while the other hand holds up his beer mug, his eyes bright with joy. The happy group of four cheer loudly and clink their mugs together to toast to his first comeback match. They all laugh when the impact causes the beer to swirl crazily over the brim of their mugs and spill all over their hands. The footballer and his girlfriend are at a cozy pub a few minutes away from their flat together with Mo-yeon’s juniors from university, music professor Lee Chi-hoon and his wife Jang Hee-eun. It’s almost 11 pm and the two young couples had gone straight from the stadium to the pub for a celebratory supper and drinks. Si-jin happily gulps down half of his beer as Mo-yeon watches him in amusement. He is in a very good spirit tonight and deservingly so. Arsenal didn’t win the match but they also didn’t lose the game. And Si-jin is pleased that he had managed to score a goal for his team and break their losing spell, especially since it's Mo-yeon's first experience watching him play in London live. Mo-yeon knows that her boyfriend seldom drinks so she gladly lets him have as much as he wants tonight. She just laughs softly when Si-jin finishes his drink and turns to look at her with a huge, boyish grin on his face. Apparently he smiles easily when he's inebriated. He is such an adorable drunk, she thinks to herself. He looks down at the songwriter’s untouched mug and furrows his brows cutely in confusion. “Babe? Aren’t you drinking?” Mo-yeon shakes her head in reply. “Nope. Or else who is going to bring you home?” Si-jin points across the table at Chi-hoon who is also happily chugging on his beer. “Chi-hoon can carry me, can you?” Hee-eun snorts from where she’s sitting next to her husband, sipping the beer daintily from her mug like it’s a sophisticated cocktail.
