I want you to delete some of your recording from today.” Jessie is panting for air as she chases after Hee-Chul and his filming crew out of the restaurant an hour later. Her previously perfect hair and make-up are now in shambles. There's a bald spot in the middle of her head where her hair extension had been pulled out and now it's dangling from her hair. It comically sways with the movement of her head as she talks, and the girl doesn't even realize it. Hee-Chul just smirks as he continues walking; ignoring the rude way the girl just demands something from him as if she has any right to do so. He shares a knowing look with his cameraman before he opens his mouth to reply. “I’m sorry Jessie. When you signed up for this show you already agreed that all recording will be our sole copyright, don’t you remember that? Aigoo….I can’t possibly edit anything out without my producer’s permission now can I? He would kill me for that.” Jessie stops walking as she glares at the former idol in disbelieve. “Yaah! You think I care about your producer or your stupid show! T-that thing could ruin my career! I want you to delete them right now or else I’d sue your entire company!” Hee-Chul stops walking as he slowly turns and looks at the rookie actress, no longer smirking like before. “Yaah Kim Eun-ji, I don’t know where do you get off by talking to me like this, but you do realize that I’m your f-cking senior, right? Show some respect, hoobae.” She blinks in shock as the usually cheerful and polite host stares her down with clear disgust on his face. He is so done with this wannabe diva. And after today, he has a feeling he’ll be climbing to a higher place anyway. He doesn’t need to bear with annoying D-listers anymore. She tries to change tactic as she takes a deep breath and walks closer to Hee-chul, her face now sweet as sugar as she gives him a flirtatious smile. “Sunbaenim… please help me this one time, I promise I’ll make it worth your while….” He knows exactly what she’s implying and shakes his head in repulsion. “No thanks.” He gives her a smirk as he starts to walk away. “Why don’t you ask your boyfriend to help you? He’s famous, isn’t he?” ---- “Babe… Wait please…” Mo-yeon just ignores him as she stomps into the apartment and then flings her leather jacket carelessly on the sofa. Si-jin walks silently behind her before he finally grabs her hand with his. She turns around and tries to pull away. “Mo-yeon, babe, please.” He insistently pulls her closer despite her struggling to get away. He palms her face with his other hand, forcing her to look up. “Are you really not going to talk to me? I’ve told you what happened. Don’t you trust me?” Mo-yeon forces herself to maintain eye contact. Her boyfriend is looking at her with pleading eyes and she clenches her teeth to stop herself from melting from that look like she usually would. Yes, of course she trusts him. She trusts him and loves him like she’d never trusted and loved anyone else before in her life. But right at this moment she’s also very, very pissed and he’s the easiest target for her anger since she can’t very well go back and search for Eun-ji now, can she? He was the one who told her to go to the reunion (yes, she’s aware that he’d meant well but jeez let her be irrational for once okay) and then she had to see what she saw back at the restaurant….and despite his explanation she has a nagging feeling that he’s not telling her everything. And the last part…that’s exactly why she’s so mad right now. Because he knows how hiding things from her had worked out for them in the past. She thought he’d learnt from their past blunders but here he is, doing the exact same thing, again. “It’s not about that! You know I trust you with my life. But can you honestly say you’re not hiding something from me?” She stands on her tiptoes so she can look closer into his eyes, searching for the truth. “What is it? What aren’t you telling me?” Why do you keep doing this? Si-jin sighs. He opens his mouth, there is an explanation right at the tip of his tongue but he just can’t bring himself to say it. He feels sick to his stomach just thinking about it. Mo-yeon watches him struggles with his words and pushes him away as anger starts bubbling in her chest again. “Let me know when you’re ready to tell me what really happened.” “Babe no wai—“ Si-jin sighs as Mo-yeon stomps into the bedroom and slams the door behind her. They haven’t fought a lot but it seems like Mo-yeon is really angry at him this time. Haish, idiot…. He mentally curses himself. Seriously, just tell her. He understands why she’s upset with him, but this one sole topic…it’s the single thing he still can’t manage to talk to her about. He sits on the sofa and then groans out loud as he leans back and closes his eyes. It’s okay, she’ll forgive him, soon. Si-jin knows his girlfriend too well, she might burn hot like the sun but she also cools down quickly. But he does wonder if he’ll be sleeping on the sofa tonight. --- “Are you seriously fighting with Si-jin right now? Mo-yeon Ah! It wasn’t his fault!” Silence on the line as Mo-yeon sighs before she lies down on the bed. She can hear Si-jin outside, doing something in the kitchen. Now that she has an hour to cool down she’s feeling a little guilty for blowing up on him like that. “Can you tell me what had happened Ji-soo?” “Eh? He didn’t tell you?” “He’s hiding something…he told me about what Eun-ji did but there’s something he’s not telling and that’s why I was so mad at him.” Ji-soo sighs before she chuckles in amusement. “That poor idiot. Haish, I don’t think it’s appropriate for me to say. But Mo-yeon Ah, I think you two better be prepared. Lee Hee-chul exchanged his business card with me after you guys left. She didn’t even realize she had drifted into sleep after her phone conversation with Ji-soo. Si-jin’s arms are circling her middle, his chin resting on her shoulder, the warmth from his body sending shiver down her spine. For a moment neither of them talks. She waits unmovingly as he takes a deep breath. “I’m so sorry for today, babe. It’s not because I don’t want to tell you just…” She sighs and puts her hand on top of his, her index finger slowly caressing the ring on his finger. She no longer cares if he’s not telling her everything about today. If there’s something he doesn’t want to share then he has the right to do so. It still hurts to think that he doesn't want to share everything with her but he is still human, he deserves his privacy. Her voice cracks a little as she squeezes his hand. “No, it’s me who should apologize, honey. I shouldn’t have gone off on you like that--” “Shhhhh…” He plants a soft kiss on her shoulder before he tightens his hold on her waist. “It’s not your fault at all. Go to sleep babe, I got you.” She forgets to tell him about the show tomorrow night as his deep hum and embrace lull her back to sleep. --- “Your Eonnie is still kinda mad at me.” Si-jin whispers to Myeong-joo as he opens the door for her the next night. Be prepared to vomit though.” Mo-yeon makes a face at her boyfriend as she approaches the front door and pulls Myeong-joo inside before giving her a hug. She’s back at being semi-pissed at him again today since she’d told him about what Ji-soo had said and yet he’d still refused to tell her what had really happened yesterday. This man is even more stubborn than I am, haish. But then her mind flashes back to last night. Yaah, what happens to being understanding and respecting his privacy? Errrr…. Mo-yeon mentally shakes her thoughts off and smiles at Myeong-joo. “Myeong-joo Ah! Are you alone? Where’s Dae-young?” “Here!” Dae-young suddenly emerges from behind the door holding a bag filled with snacks and Mo-yeon laughs at him, ignoring the sad face Si-jin is throwing her way. “No way we’re going to miss this show,” Myeong-joo says while she smirks at Si-jin, “I can’t wait to see how you messed this up.” “I didn’t mess anything up! Babe—“ He tries to grab Mo-yeon’s hand but she pulls away from him as she walks grumpily back to the sofa. “Come on, let’s get this over with.” He sighs as he sits down next to her, before he grabs her hand. Myeong-joo and Dae-young watch in amusement as Mo-yeon tries to struggle free from him before she finally gives up and lets Si-jin holds her hand. Si-jin looks up at his sister and best friend, trying not to look too pleased at his victory and risk Mo-yeon’s wrath yet again. Dae-young just shakes his head at them. “Aigoo...seriously.... Other people go to reunions like you two too. But we never end up with a reality show filming us and then airing it as a special episode just a day after. Shall we call you guys the....viral couple? Since it seems like you guys tend to make everything go viral.” Mo-yeon and Si-jin both simultaneously scowl at him for his unhelpful remark and he chuckles at the united way they look despite being in a middle of a cold war with each other. “Yaah, both of you, stop trying to kill me with your stare already. Come on, it’s almost time." ---- The show starts normally enough if not boring, Lee Hee-chul and the newcomer Jessie Kim talking on camera about going to her class reunion…and then they go inside the restaurant and suddenly it’s not boring anymore.
