That morning “Okay babe, just hold my hand. I’ll keep you balanced.” “Ommo, I’m scared, Si-jin Ah.” “It’s okay, I’ve got you.” Si-jin pulls her carefully along with him as he begins to skate on the cold hard ice. He keeps a protective grip on Mo-yeon’s glove covered hand, taking great care to not go too fast too soon. Mo-yeon lets him lead with a tiny smile on her face as she tries to hide her amusement. She waits patiently for a few minutes and then a naughty smirk starts to spread across her face. She abruptly pulls her hand from his, startling the striker with her sudden movement as she cuts him off and glides pass him. “Ommo Mo-yeon Ah careful--!” He watches with wide eyes as his girlfriend skates effortlessly across the ice skating rink, crisscrossing gracefully to avoid other people while she leaves him further and further behind. It takes some time but he finally manages to catch up, skating right next to her as he stares at her giggling face in disbelieve. Mo-yeon shots him a smug look before she grabs his hand. “I was in the ice skating team at my high school. Aigoo… I guess I didn’t tell you that, huh?” Si-jin bursts out laughing before he shakes his head in amazement. “We have more in common than I had thought, babe. I was in my school’s team too. I should’ve asked first though. That was presumptuous of me. Mianheyo.” Mo-yeon just continues giggling as she pulls him along, this time it is her who’s leading their way as Si-jin readily follows. “Jinjja? Turns out we have so many things we haven’t yet shared with each other, neh?” He squeezes her hand as they continue across the rink, their motion smooth like dancers who have been partnered with each other for years. “Next you’ll tell me you also like to eat ramyun before bed.” “Nope, sorry, I don’t. It is them….” “She’s even prettier than her pictures… no wonder he’s crazy about her…” Mo-yeon’s cheeks are bright pink as she grips Si-jin’s hand tighter while they walk towards the other end of the highly crowded indoor theme park. There have been quite a number of visitors who had recognized them despite their hats and sunglasses, but so far nobody comes up and bothers them. South Koreans are too polite for that. They just sneakily take your picture and then upload it on the SNS instead. “When you said you wanted to finally have a date in the open…I didn’t think you meant going to the most famous theme park in Seoul…on a Sunday of all days…” She mutters under her breath. Si-jin just chuckles as he walks briskly, dodging crowds of people coming from the opposite direction at the bustling Lotte World Theme Park. “It’s too hot for outdoor fun fair…. Besides you didn’t want to go to that Love Museum that I wanted to go to.” “That would have been even worse!” Mo-yeon can’t imagine the embarassment she would feel if someone snaps a picture of them going to the Love Museum in Hongdae. Only people 20 years-old and above are allowed to go inside that particular museum…for a very valid reason. Let’s just say if Love Museum is a movie, it would’ve been rated ‘Mature’. Si-jin had jokingly announced that was where they're heading that morning and earned himself a nice pinch on his arm for his trouble. Mo-yeon lets him guide her through the crowd, not even looking up as she buries her face in the pink cotton candy in her hand, trusting him to not let her bump into another person. “Si-jin Ah, where are we going now?” “Outside to the Magic Island. Let’s go ride some roller coasters!” “Haish, I thought you said it’s too hot to go outside?” --- “Ommo....seriously, I think I’m deaf now.” “My throat hurts, aigoo….” He whines as they walk away from the roller coaster. “Of course it’s hurting!" Her face is red as she tries to talk and giggle at the same time. "You were screaming like a crazy man. I can’t believe my macho footballer boyfriend is scared of heights.” Si-jin makes a face as Mo-yeon countinues laughing, recalling how her cool boyfriend had shouted on the top of his lungs right as they were going down the steep cliff. “It’s not the height.
