VIRAL LOVE Chapter 15 : DINNER She is completely taken aback when he closes his lips around hers that for a few seconds she just sits completely still, eyes open wide in shock, hands still on his chest where she had been smacking him for his crude remark. He stubbornly keeps his lips on hers as he puts the lightest pressure on them before taking her lower lip between his. He can taste the sweet and salty popcorn on her lips, feel his blood pounding in his ears, the softness of her skin as he holds her face in his palms. Nothing else exists beyond her and him at that moment. Is this really happening? Is he really kissing her right now? He realizes then that she's not kissing him back, and cold dread begins to sneak in his gut. Is he moving too fast for her? He pauses and begins to draw back, his heart clenching when she suddenly, timidly responds back, moving her lips gently against his, the hands that have been on his shirt now gripping it tightly to prevent him from moving away instead.
