After what happened I decided not to go home that night, I’m not sure why but I felt like it was for the best. Even if my wife was probably freaking out right now because I’m not home but I just wanted sometime to sort out my thoughts. I forgot phone at home again, Nayeon always tell me not to forget it and call her when I’m late. I started laughing to myself while I’m I was walking down the sidewalk to god knows where. It was like 3 am, there wasn’t any cars or people anywhere to found. The streetlights were on but sense I live in the suburbs, there not very bright and I can  barely see where I’m going. Yet I’m still walking at a slow pace as if the world didn’t exist and there was just me with my thoughts. After what felt like hours of walking I found myself face to face with what looked like a ghost. “What you doing?” Dayhun was in front of me with her back against the railing of old broken down bridge that separated the two parts of the town. “What?” She ask me with a voice that only contains sadness and depression. “What are doing here?” I asked again but this doesn’t respond at all and just turned around and was staring at the city below. By the way the bridge were on is kinda higher up then the rest of the town but if fall over there is large lake below that runs under the bridge and cut the town in two. After felt like forever she started talking “I’m leaving and going back home” I couldn’t she dayhun face but I could tell she crying “that good, I’m sure chae..” While I was talking she turned around and gave me a painful smile before interrupting me to say “no, I’m back to Korea” I couldn’t say anything back, I couldn’t even more but just stood there in shock. She started walking towards and right before we were inches apart dayhun said something I’ll never forget “i love you with all my heart, please tell chaeyoung I’m sorry” then she walk away and left are lives. Maybe it’s for the best but it sure hurts like a son of none the less.

• 7 years later - Jihyo’s perspective

“Mom where are you?” I was running though the house looking for her but to no avail, until a voice started calling from outside. “I’m in the back yard sweetheart” after finding her in the garden planting something, I came up to ask if I could help out “is there anything for to do?” sitting down next to her, she turned to me and smiled before handing me a small shovel.

Just as I was about to start digging a hole, mom stopped what she was doing and took out her phone to call someone. It turned out to be mama “Tzuyu when do you get off work tonight?” I put my shovel and got my mother’s back trying hear what she was saying “I’m going to be late tonight because the boss is being an ” I started laughing when see said because mother started scolding her again “Tzuyu language, you should not say such things about your boss” then I fell off her back when mama said “i just give her food and she’ll be happy” mother just sighed, then they said they loved each other and she hung up. “Well I guess it just us two tonight” she told me that as I was getting down and then she stood up, then she brushed the dirt off her jeans and turned towards me to pick me up before saying “do you want pizza tonight?” I was really excited and started moving around to much. So she almost drop me but didn’t “yes!” Is all I said as she carriers me towards the house.
