Min Hyun was walking to school while having ear buds in his ears.

He was listening to Nu'est's songs, he was a fan of theirs because Yoona liked them.

Every time Yoona liked something, he liked it....

Every time Yoona hated something, he hated it...

It was as if his life revolved around Yoona...

After all, he's had these feelings for her for the longest time ever...

He just couldn't find the moment to confess...

Min Hyun was spacing out while he was walking and someone had pulled out the ear bud in his right ear.

"Hwang Min Hyun."

He recognized the soft voice...

He loved the sound of her voice...

Well, maybe he just loved everything about her...

He looked to the right and saw her...

"Im Yoona..."

"Didn't I tell you not to listen to music while you're walking? I was yelling your name like crazy but you couldn't hear me so I had to run to you," she told him while pouting.

"Sorry, I forgot... I'll make sure to not listen to music next time when I'm walking," he replied.

That was a lie...

He didn't forget...

He remembers every little detail that Yoona says...

He purposely listened to music so that Yoona would run to him...

"It's fine but... what were you listening to," She asks as she puts the ear bud in her ear.

Her face lit up and she started to sing the song.

"Omg, you were listening to Nu'est! Did you hear their new song?? It was so good and my favorite Min Hyun, his voice was on point like always... it's a coincidence that you have the same name as my favorite member from Nu'est, don't you think?"

"Mmm... well, a lot of people in Korea have the name Min Hyun right?"

"But you even have the same surname as him... Maybe you two are secretly related, that would be soooo cool...."

Min Hyun laughed at her silliness and they walked onto the school campus together.

As usual, all the boys would stare at Yoona, which made Min Hyun feel uneasy...

He was scared that Yoona would fall for someone else...

Well, she did date someone 2 years ago...

He was super good looking, tall, and had a great personality...

Min Hyun couldn't help but to feel jealous of him but Yoona and the guy eventually broke up because Yoona lost interest.

Yoona wasn't necessarily the type of girl that likes a guy based on their looks, she mainly focuses on personality but...

She didn't feel anything special when she was dating that guy....

She wanted to find true love but she felt like true love only existed in fairytales...

Yoona and Min Hyun walked down the hallways together...

Min Hyun wasn't popular like Yoona, maybe like one or two girls like him but he was only interested in Yoona.

Yoona didn't like the attention she received from all the guys, after all...

The guys only liked her because of her looks...

Yoona knew that was a fact because the only guys she really talked to at school were her teachers and Min Hyun.

Yoona and Min Hyun walked into the classroom and sat down next to each other.

Yoona looked out the window and frowned...

"Will I ever find someone whom i love so much and can't live without," she wondered.

Min Hyun looked at Yoona and couldn't help but to wonder," what is she thinking about?"

The bell rang and the teacher began to start his boring lecture.

Min Hyun watched as the teacher wrote down on the board.

"Discipline."

When he read that word, Min Hyun was reminded of the time Yoona and him got in trouble when they were little.

*FLASHBACK*

"Min Hyun," Yoona whispered.

"Yes Yoona."

"Let's ditch class."

"WHAT?!"

"Shhh," Yoona said as she put a finger on his lips.

"The teacher might hear us... I'll say that my stomach hurts and you'll say that you'll go with me, okay?," she told him. 

"But what if we get caught?"

"Don't worry, we won't get caught."

Yoona raised her hand and pretended to act like she was in pain.

"Owww, teacher.... my stomach really hurts... it hurts a lot... Can I go to the nurse's office," Yoona asked.

"Oh, are you okay Yoona? I'll write you a nurse's pass," the teacher said as she immediately wrote her a pass.

"Teacher, can I go with Yoona," Min Hyun asked.

"Yes, please go with Yoona."

And like that, Yoona and Min Hyun left their classroom.

Yoona had a big smile on her face," all we have to do now is leave school. Let's go!"

She held his hand and ran out of the school with him. 

Min Hyun was scared to get in trouble but he was happy because he was with Yoona.

"Yoona, where are we going though?"

"To the park, so that we can play together on the playground."

With that, they went to the park and Yoona went on the swing.

"Push me Min Hyun," she said while swinging her legs back and forth.

"Okay," he replied and he went behind her and began to push her.

"This is so fun Min Hyun! We should ditch school more often that way we can just play around all day and we don't have to listen to the teacher talking all day," Yoona said happily.

Min Hyun smiled," as long as you are happy, then I'm happy..."

But their happiness didn't last long as Min Hyun and Yoona's neighbors noticed them two playing.

"Aren't they supposed to be at school?," one of the neighbors questioned.

"Let's call their parents, plus I don't think their parents would let them play together without any supervision," another neighbor said.

And just like that, Yoona's and Min Hyun's mom immediately went to the park.

"IM YOONA!!!"

"HWANG MIN HYUN!!!"

Yoona and Min Hyun felt a chill down their spine...

"Isn't that my mom and your mom's voice? Aren't they calling our names," Min Hyun asked.

"I think so... Oh no... I think we're going to get in trouble Min Hyun... it's all my fault... I'm so sorry Min Hyun," Yoona said as she began to cry.

"It's okay Yoona, we were both happy together playing at the park. You don't have to be sorry," he told her as he wiped away her tears.

"But Min Hyun..."

"It's okay Yoona..."

Yoona hugged him and Min Hyun's and Yoona's mom found them.

"Hwang Min Hyun, when we get home you're really going to get it."

"Im Yoona, why did you think of doing something so stupid???"

*PRESENT*

Min Hyun was in so much trouble that day but he was happy because Yoona was happy.

Because he was reminded of the past, he couldn't help but to reminisce other memories as well.

*FLASHBACK*

A few years ago, Yoona got a part time job.

She was a waitress at a restaurant and she wasn't the only high school student working at that restaurant.

There was two girls that were in her grade and they did not like her.

Yoona might have been popular with the boys but she was not popular with the girls.

It was winter when Yoona had got the job...

Min Hyun made sure to visit Yoona at her work just to check up on her.

He knew that the two girls did not like Yoona so he was scared that they would do something to Yoona...

And just as he had expected, they did....

Yoona was in her work uniform and she was about to change and go home. 

But the two girls had planned something...

"Your name is Yoona right?," one of the girls asked.

"Yeah," Yoona said.

"Can you check the freezer room before you leave? The manager told us to check the contents in the freezer but we really have to go right now because we're late to something," the other girl told Yoona.

"Okay," Yoona said without suspecting anything.

So Yoona went inside the freezer room and as she walked deeper in the freezer...

The girls closed the door and locked the door.

Yoona immediately went to the door and tried to open the door but the door wouldn't budge.

"Is there anyone out there?! Please help me, I'm locked inside the freezer!"

Yoona shivered as her body temperature began to get colder and colder...

"I have to get out of here before it's too late...."

Yoona called Min Hyun...

"Please pick up... please...."

"Yoona?"

"Min Hyun! I need help..."

"What's wrong?"

"I'm locked.... inside... the freezer.... of the... restaurant... Please... hurry... and... help... me...."

"I'm going right now!"

Yoona dropped her phone and she fell to the ground.

"It's.... so... cold...."

Min Hyun ran to the restaurant and he didn't care if the employees there were going to say something to him....

All he wanted to do was save Yoona...

Yoona closed her eyes and her lips turned pale and her fingertips became frozen.

The door opened and Min Hyun ran towards Yoona.

"Yoona! Please get to your senses Yoona!"

He took off his scarf, his coat, his hat, and his mittens and he put them on Yoona.

He carried Yoona out of the freezer room and could feel her ice cold skin against his warm skin.

The employees that were still at the restaurant surrounded Yoona and Min Hyun.

Min Hyun placed her on a seat and the employees immediately got some warm water and a towel and placed it on her forehead.

Min Hyun placed his hand on her cheek," she's still cold."

One employee took off her shoes and placed her feet in warm water.

Other employees made sure that warm water was readily available.

Min Hyun constantly checked her temperature and she was getting a little warmer.

"Maybe... Body heat will help her get warmer," one employee said.

Min Hyun looked at her....

"Body heat? But if I kiss Yoona without her permission... what will she think of me?"

"You want her to regain her consciousness right? Kiss her! Plus, aren't you her boyfriend? You came all this way for her so you have to save her," a different employee told him. 

He wasn't her boyfriend but he was willing to do anything for Yoona...

Even if she were to hate him after what he did...

He hesitated...

 But then He hugged her and placed his lips on hers...

"She's so cold..... Was it those two girls? I knew those two girls were up to no good," he thought in his mind.

Min Hyun placed his warm hands under her shirt and on her .

"Forgive me Yoona, but I need you to live... I still have to confess to you... I still have so many things that I want to do with you... so please, open your eyes..."

Min Hyun's eyes were closed and his hands roamed all over her back.

And as if true loves kiss existed....
