chocolate
Short Fiction for Dahyun
Sana’s like her dearly beloved, chocolate.
She’s the light sip of chocolate milk during the day.
The sweet hit of melting biscuits at noon.
She’s the guilty indulgence of chocopie late into the night.
But here’s the dark thing about chocolate,
Although we know that it’s unhealthy to consume copious amounts.
The temptation is too strong to resist.
It’s not simple as depravity.
The more that Dahyun starves herself of the temptress goodness,
The greater her craving hungers.
She can’t forgo the brief euphoria that sweeps across her tastebuds,
But after the scandalous excitement wears off.
She’s left lamenting over the consequences of her surrender.
The tizzy aftermath that leaves her betrayed and sluggish.
Oh chocolate
So sweet and velvet
Both heavenly and devilishly intertwined in one
Why do I love you so?
AN: Something short that came to me, whilst I was driving.
