~My POV~

As I changed back into my clothes, I glanced at the night stand and remembered the little piece of paper with an address on it that Mai Lee left for me. I picked it up then I heard a knock on the door.

“Annyeonghaseyo.” The doctor and his intern greeted me.

“Annyeonghaseyo.” I replied.

“Okay Eunsun. I prescribed you with some pain killers for your head and wrist. If you are in any pain or feel any nausea take one and if you still feel pain

“Take two, I got it Dr. Jung. Kamsahamnida.”

“Oh, and your friend told me you’re a dancer.”

Oh no, please don’t say I have to stop dancing.

“You’re going to have to take at least a 2 week break from dancing.” The doctor instructed.

And he says it, why?! Apparently Mai Lee didn’t tell him how this would affect me.

“Why?! I thought it was just a minor sprain!” I objected.

“It is. But dancing requires a lot of movement and if you fall or trip your sprain can turn into a fracture or

“Ani yo! You don’t understand! Dancing is my life! It’s what gets me by in by in this world. It’s the only thing keeping me and my parents connected!” I cut him off again.

“I’m sorry.” The doctor sympathized as he exited the room.

“Annyeong, I’m a friend of Mai Lee’s.” The intern approached me.

I gave him a weird look.

“Um you’re probably wondering what the piece of paper is.”

I continued to stare at him. For some reason he looked insanely familiar . . .

“Um you’re probably wondering what the address is to.”

I nodded as I looked at his handsome face.

“I actually don’t know, but Mai Lee told me to tell you to go to her house and she’d explain.”

“Oh okay, kamsahamnida.” I bowed.

“No problem.” He smiled.

“Wait! You look awfully familiar, have we met before?” I asked with curiosity.

“Not that I know of . . . but Mai Lee and I are pretty close so you’ve probably seen me with her.”

“Oh yeah maybe.”

“We should all hang out sometime. The three of us.” He suggested. “Je ireumeun Taehyun imnida.”

“Sunny.” I replied.

“Sunny, I’m guessing that’s a nickname?” Taehyun assumed.

“Yeah Eunsun, Sunny. Whichever you’re comfortable with.”

“Okay, see you later.” He smiled.

“You speak English?!” I asked surprised.

He just smiled and left.

“Wait you never gave me her address!” I shouted.

He tells me to go to her house and doesn’t give me an address or tell me where she lives? What the hell.

“Yeobosaeyo?”

“Sunny?! Are you okay? How are you feeling?” Mai Lee asked concernedly.

“I’m fine, but how’d you get my number?” I asked.

“I put it in when you were asleep in case of emergencies.”

“A little late.” I remarked sarcastically.

“Yeah sorry.”

“It’s okay. Thank you I really appreciate it and I’m really sorry for yelling at you.”

“Don’t even worry about it. Now you need my address right?”

“Ye I could really use someone to talk to right now.”

*15 minutes later*

“Annyeonghaseyo.” I greeted her as she waited on the porch.

“Hey.” Mai Lee greeted in English.

  “You speak English too?”

“Yeah . . . and so does Taehyun. You've met right?”

“Yeah he's really nice.” I smiled at the thought of him for some reason. “So what’s this address for? Why’d you leave it on my nightstand?”

“You’ve never seen this before have you?” She questioned me stunned.

“No . . .? Is it something I should recognize?”

“No, but once I heard about the car crash

“Yeah how did you know about it?” I interrupted her.

“I was walking home from work and I saw it happen. Then I saw a girl being pulled out of the vehicle which looked like yours and when I got closer the girl that was being pulled out of the car was you . . .

“Was it bad?” I started to tear.

She looked away.

“What about the car that hit me?”

“They said you both wouldn’t make it. There was a lot of blood.” Mai Lee told me.

~Mai Lee’s POV~

I feel soo sorry for her. I want to be there for her, she has nobody.

“Anyways, the address is to the drunk driver that crashed into your parents. I thought the the crash would remind you of your parents and you'd want to I don't know comfront him?”

“Bwoh? How’d you get this?” She asked in amazement.

“I know people . . . which are my dad. He’s a police officer.”

“Why are you doing this for me?”

“Because I care, I see the pain you go through every day and I feel soo much sympathy for you. You’re living here on your own and I want to help. What can I possibly do for her, is there anything I can do to make her life the slightest bit easier?”

Her tears started to fall.

“Mai Lee, you’re doing more than enough for me just being here and the address that just shows what A True Friend you are.”

Awee Mai Lee is such a sweet girl. Ohh Taehyun (Haha that's such a cool name!) he seems like a nice guy.
