Spending time with Kyulkyung became a necessity for Nayoung. It was as thought their routine together worked like clockwork, and Nayoung never wanted to break the habit.

It had almost been a month since her first date with the younger girl, and Nayoung found it difficult to imagine a life in which Kyulkyung was not present. It was as though Nayoung was immersed in a daydream, and she couldn't help but dread the day she finally woke up.

And yet deep down she knew that wouldn't happen. What she felt for Kyulkyung scared her (terrified her even), the care she harboured for the Chinese girl shocked her, the intensity of her feelings for her girlfriend were something she'd never experienced before (Nayoung knew these feelings were reciprocated now); and for Nayoung, that was as real as things got.

Nayoung wasn't dreaming, but she's sure she'd dreamt about this a million times before.

As though right on cue, when Nayoung felt like her thoughts about the other girl would consume her completely, a gentle arm s it's way around her waist and rested on her bare skin.

It was 10am, or 11am, Nayoung wasn't quite sure. She heard the warm body next to her shift a little in the bed they were sharing and felt Kyulkyung's head rest heavily on her shoulder.

"I could stay like this forever." came her girlfriend's hushed voice.

"Don't tempt me."

Kyulkyung snuggled even closer to Nayoung, if possible, and the older girl embraced the warmth radiating off her.

"I'm serious," Nayoung muttered groggily, "Don't tempt me."

It seemed as thought Kyulkyung refused to listen to Nayoung however, as she wrapped the other free arm under Nayoung's back and threw her right leg over her slender body. The younger girl nuzzled her face into her girlfriend's chest and planted a soft kiss against her collarbone.

This elicited a quiet groan from the older girl and she twisted her body in an attempt to free herself from the tiny human glued to her. Nayoung didn't however, properly calculate just how must force she must possess and was therefore startled when the space beside her suddenly went cold and an unmistakable thud was heard from the floor beside her.

"Wow." she heard Kyulkyung exhale and peered down to see the younger girl propped up on her shoulders, hair dishevelled and eyes still half shut.

"Remind me to never touch you again I guess."

Nayoung couldn't help but laugh at the scene in front of her. Of course it was funny, but Nayoung observed how adorably cute the other girl looked right now, still flustered.

"I warned you. You don't mess with a girl when she's still half asleep."

"I thought you were flirting with me."

"You must have really low expectations for my flirting skills then."

The girl on the floor didn't reply, only looking up at Nayoung with a smug grin on her face, hinting that what Nayoung had just said was true. It was as if she was practically begging Nayoung to throw a pillow at her, wipe that smirk off her face. And so she did.

"Hey!" came Kyulkyung's shout of protest, "When did this relationship get so abusive?"

"Shut up." Nayoung chuckled, getting out of bed to retrieve her pillow and to give Kyulkyung a helping hand.

The two girls were on their feet now, that was until Kyulkyung dragged the taller girl back down onto the bed and lay directly on top of her.

"Oh my god you're like a needy child." Nayoung complained, trying to shoo Kyulkyung away.

"Don't pretend like you hate it."

"Well I don't particularly like it."

"Whatever."

Nayoung let out a defeated sigh and wrapped her arms around the smaller girl's waist. If she couldn't defeat her, why not join her?

The couple lay like that for what seemed only a few minutes, until Nayoung turned her head to the clock sitting on her bedside table and groaned in disbelief.

"What is it?" Kyulkyung lifted her head up from the crook in Nayoung's neck.

"It's 12:47."

"So?"

"We have to do something today."

"Whyyyyyyyyyy?" Kyulkyung drew out the word in protest.

"Kyulkyung we're not spending another day in bed okay?"

"We could try." came the younger girl's voice, mischievious.

"Babe." Nayoung tried to stand firm.

"Babe?"

Truthfully, it was Nayoung's own fault for using the word, and she couldn't help but shake her head at the way Kyulkyung stared at her, yet another smirk plastered on her lips.

Maybe it was the way Kyulkyung's body still rested on top of hers, or the way her face was so close and looked so pretty but Nayoung had the urge to kiss the other girl, and she knew now it wasn't necessary to fight these urges anymore.

And so she kissed Kyulkyung, for what seemed like the very first time. It always felt like their first time.

The kiss was short, gentle, lacking the urgency of the kisses they'd shared before when neither of the two truly understood the other.

They didn't need to rush to feel other's body against their own, hurry to connect their lips with warm skin. Both Nayoung and Kyulkyung knew there'd be enough time for that in the future.

After Nayoung broke away first, she gently brought her hand up to tuck a loose strand of hair behind Kyulkyung's ear and smiled sweetly at the younger girl.
