A Year Later...

"Come on, baby!" Kyujong cheered encouraging his baby boy towards him.
"Nghmp~!" Little Yejun whined as he found himself struggling as he took tiny baby steps to get to his father.
"It's okay, Yejunnie. Daddy's here. Come! You can do it!" He encouraged some more.
Yejun whined making a face of defeat as he plopped down on his rump with his lips quivering.
"No. No. No!" Kyujong ran to his side picking him up. "It's okay, little man. You were great. No need to cry"
Yejun made a few whimpery noise as if he was trying to tell his dad that he tried his best but his feet was just simple not allowing him.
"It's okay,buddy. You have your whole life ahead of you. You did great walking and daddy's very sure that his little man will be the best at a lot of things!" Kyujong answered with such exaggerated motions that it made Yejun giggle and show his gummy smile.
The two were enjoying themselves way too much that they didn't even notice Byul enter moments ago until the little babe spotted her.
"'Mma!" Yejun squealed and started to squirm wanting to get to her.
"Hey babe- Oh! Yejun-ah."Kyujong greeting was cut off with him having to make sure he doesn't drop his son. 
He was gently scolding his son about his eagerness to get to his mom but the babe just grunted and groaned trying to push away from him which lead up to him having to put him down.
"'Mma!" Yejun squealed happily as he crawled his way to his mom who waited for his eager welcome.

Byul had just come home from the company studio where she had to go in earlier that day to finalize the editing of the newest song she helped compose and produce with Hyejin.
And as she crossed the hallway of their home, Byul could hear the happy babbling of little Yejun who sounded to be having quite the good time with his dad who she heard was encouraging him until she heard his tiny whimper.
Worried that Kyujong was teasing their son again, Byul hurried but stopped as he watched her husband scoop him up and lift him to his chest.
She saw how the man he married cooed and talked softly at their son to ease his discomfort and at that, she couldn't help but fall in love with him all over again.
Even though Kyujong knew how much of a mama's boy their son was, he never got jealous or upset and just keep giving love to the both of them. Byul smiled and just as so, Yejun saw her.
"Yejun-ah!" Byul scolded after witnessing how the child squirmed away from his father and almost falling from his hold.
Yejun pouted and his lips started to quiver but still held his hand up asking for her to hold him.
Byul found his expression so cute but kept her features calm as she didn't want him to perceive her action in a different way.
"I thibk he understands now."Kyujong said as he held their child out to her.
Byul turned to her husband giving him a kiss on the lips which made Yejun forget his whimpering and grunt angrily at his mother for being ignored.
The two laughed annoying the child some more.
"Come here, my little bean." Byul taking the boy who happily clutched onto her.
"Now you're happy, hm?" Kyujong teased their son who just smiled nuzzling his tiny head on his mother's neck. "Ei~. Such a mama's boy."
Byul simply giggled enjoying the warmth of her husband who wrapped his arms around the two of them.

2 Years Later...
"Ahjussi. Can't we just take him with us?" Byul asked watching their son sleeping.
Kyujong chuckled wrapping his arms around her and kissing her exposed nape.
"Not this time, love." He said sighing. "I thought about it before planning this trip and really thought hard about it but this trip is for you."
Byul wanted to argue with him on this one but knowing how he'd win as he had the previous arguements sided by her sisters, she opted not to.
"You worry too much, love." Kyujong said quietly. "He's aleady aware that he'll be spending time with his aunt and guessing him, he'll barely notice us gone especially with Wheein doting on him."
Byul wanted to complai. To tell him that he should've planned the trip for the three of them but she too did miss spending time with him espeially when the both os them got too busy with their careers and her being more busy with having expanded her cafe.
And it is not that she was complaining about the blessings they are receiving, it's just the timing of everything caused them to have much lesser time with each other and most importantly with their son.
"I know you're worried that we have been too busy and barely spent time with Yejun and you're scared that he'll resent us for it," Kyujong said as if he had read what was on her mind just now. "But Yejun won't."
"He's still far too young to understand these things and it's best for us to reconnect first before spending time with him. Besides, it's just going to be 2 weeks and then we'll be home with our little bean." He added wanting to assure her.
Byul sighed turning around and wrapped her hands on his waist, placing her head on his chest.
"I just feel like I'm being selfish." She said.
Kyujong sighed as well.
Wrapping his arms around her he said,"I feel that way too. But you've been burnt out from running around taking care of our son and me and working on your songs as well as with the expansion of the cafe and that's why I want to take care of you."
She bit her lip and looked at him with guilt still on her face. "But-"
"Stop it." Kyujong scolded her with his eyes now fully on he lips. "You've have not been selfish. You're doing everything for our family's future just as I have and will still do. And id you really want to talk about being selfish~"
Byul squeaked and suddenly found herself wrapped around her husband.
"What are you-"
"Shh. You don't want to wake our little one, do you?"
Byul pouted quieting down but glared at him.
Kyujong smirked and leaned downdd engulfing her lips with his as he carried her to their room.
Breathless, Byul looked at him with her lips swollen.
"I'm going to be a bit more selfish now, love." Kyujong said placing her gently on the bed where he made sure of his words for the next few hours.
And as for Byul, let's just say she had no complains about her husband's  selfishness.

9 Month and 10 Days Later...
"Shes so beautiful." Byul said holding their new born who had just come out to the world squalling until her mother held her and she stopped but still continued to whimper.
Kyujong, frantic at their daughter's behaviour placed a gentle hand on the baby's back and started talking to her. "It's okay now, princess. Umma and appa is here now, okay?"
The babe made one last whimper jutting her lower lips out and finally quieted down.
Byul and some of the nurse who saw cooed and giggled at the babe's adorable response to her father.
"I guess now we have our own daddy's girl." Byul teased.
Kyujong smiled proudly.
"See. I told you being selfish isn't so bad." He teased which immediately had Byul laughing.

With his wife and son asleep on the bed and him cradling little Haneul on his arms, Kyujong felt ovewhelmed with joy as he thought about how this beautiful reality wouldn't have happened if he made the wrong decision that day.
Had he ignored her beautiful voice, Kyujong would've missed out and would've never known what it felt like to love with all his being that it hurt so much in a best way possible.
"Ahjussi?"
Byul's groggy voice woke him from his reverie and he looked up to see his wife about to get up.
"Stay in bed, babe." He said so quietly not wanting to wake any of their little beans.
"Is Haneul, okay? Want me to take over?" She asked sleepily.
Kyujong shook his head to tell her no andd slowly got up and placed tiny Haneul on her crib.
He then carried their son back to his room before returning to his wife.
"You're acting strange, again." Byul said resting her head on his chest and wrapping an arm arojnd his waist.
Kyujong chuckled. "No. I was just thinking..."
"Uhuh."
"What do you think about another honeymoon?" 
That earned him a smack and his wife's death glare.
He chuckled then lifted her head up to give her a kiss.
"Byulyi-ah."
"Hmm?" She responded with a hum.
"Byulyi-ah."
"Mwoh? You're acting really strange again." Byul said. "Is this a precursor to you wanting to tell me you did something-"
"I love you."
His confession cut her off and she couldn't stop the butterflies fluttering in her stomach and felt her heart beat faster.
"Y-yah. Stop it." 
Kyujong just chuckled and kissed her.
"Thank you so much for marrying this gigantic pabbo and for making everyday of my life happier than it was ever before. You have given the world to me. And I will never stop loving you." Taking her hand, he placed it on his chest close to his heart and said. "My heart. Soul. All of me will always forever be yours."
She doesn't know where all of this is coming from or what brought this on and she couldn't help but tear up a bit.
"And I am yours, Kim Kyujong. As long as this worled will have our souls, I will be forever yours." Byul kissed him sweetly then looked him in the eyes. "I love you, ahjussi."

First off, how have you all been?

And yeah, sorry it took me so long for the update. Everything's just been held back and I just finally had the chance to do it.

I don't have access with a pc but thanks to smart phones... \(^o^)/
