God of Destruction

Girl meets Boy

Both of our heads turned at the abrupt noise. Who could that possibly be? Mum walked over to the door and opened it, "Ah-err... annyeonghaseyo?"

"It's okay, you don't have to try speaking Korean," a low, pleasant voice vibrated through my stomach. A tall man walked in and bowed to me and my mum. "Sorry to intrude on you like this, but I couldn't help but wonder who the new owners of this cafe would be." When he stepped in the light a little more, I could make out his features. Cute round cheeks, big bottom lip and friendly dark eyes.

"Wh-who are y-you?" I questioned, a little startled.

"Namjoon. Kim Namjoon," he gave me a little bow before looking up and smiling. I noticed the distinct dimples indented in his cheeks, which I found particularly adorable. "Would it be rude to ask who you are miss?"

"Ah, I'm Hann--," I stopped myself, remembering what my new Korean name was. "I'm Lim Eunsol, nice to meet you," I presented him with my hand, expecting him to take it. He laughed slightly before turning it around and pecking the top of my hand. I was slightly shocked as in England no body would ever do that (especially someone you've just met).

"Ahh, was that necessary?..." I laughed nervously.

"Apologies, it's normal in Korea," still smiling, he turned to my mum. "It's nice to meet you too miss," he looked around the shop. "You're definitely keeping it as a coffee shop?"

"Yes, of course," my mum giggled slightly. She then whispered to me, "he's such a gentleman."

"Mum!" I hissed and nudged her slightly. I turned back to Nam...joon, "are you fond of coffee sir?"

"You could say that, but mainly I just like coming to cafe's for inspiration," he shuffled a bit, as if embarrassed. His jet black hair glistening in the sunlight made me shiver slightly. Ah, such a nice style.

"Can I offer you anything sir?" My mum asked shakily.

"That's okay, I'll be off now... although I'm curious about you, Lim Eunsol," he came closer to me. "How old are you?"

I scoffed, slightly coughing, "Ah, err. Why do you want to know?"

"She's sixteen." My mum blurted. I rolled my eyes, letting out an exasperated sigh. I could hear Namjoon chuckling. I folded my arms and avoided his stare.

"What school are you attending then?" He asked, still close to me.

"Joongdong High School..." I mumbled.

"Really?" Namjoon asked in a surprised tone, "that's such a coincidence, some of my brothers attend that school."

"Brothers?"

"Well, I refer to them as my brothers, but they're just really close friends to me."

"Ah, makes sense..." I said awkwardly, looking down at my feet.

"Do you think she'll get along with them if they're in the same year?" Mum suddenly questioned. I could feel Namjoon's stare intensifying as he looked at me.

"Most definitely," his voice became a semitone lower as his soft smile turned into a more evil smile. His eyes seemed to be burning as I met his eyes, gulping uncomfortably. This isn't like you Hannah!

"See Hannah! You might be able to make them your friends!" Mum said happily, gripping onto my arm. She seemed completely oblivious to the scary facial expression Namjoon wore.

"Hannah? That's a lovely name," Namjoon said, still smiling. I could swear that his dimples were almost punching holes in his cheeks they were that deep. "I'll leave first," his slight graze of an American accent lingered in my ears as he made his way to the door. "I'll ask one of the boys to meet you here when you go to school," he turned around, his expression once again gentle and polite, "Miss Lim, I'll be sure to come by as often as I can."

With that, he left the shop; leaving a flustered mum, and a stiffened me.
