What is this feeling?

Girl meets Boy

A couple of months past, and I'd grown used to the fact of having a translated sheet for each of my lessons; the prestige environment of the school became normal to me and I wasn't as fascinated with the cleanliness of the toilets (as weird as that sounds). All seven of the boys visited the cafe regularly and kept me alive during my working hours; Seokjin had become less annoying and he seemed to help me out a lot with keeping the cafe on its feet whenever my mum or dad were out. Jungkook and I were able to share each other's thoughts and how we felt about certain situations, and we grew extremely close. He even told me that when he meets his lover, he'd want to take her on a trip she'd never been on before, which I found extremely adorable. I almost felt bad that he couldn't achieve that with his first love.

Namjoon dedicated his time to teach me Korean when everyone had left the cafe, and I can honestly say, it was the hardest thing I had ever learnt. For some weekends he'd  stay up till midnight just to hear me stutter a sentence out.

I barely got to see Jimin due to his dance coach always demanding his presence to practice, so it was only in school where we really talked; as for Taehyung, I'd become extremely close to him. He always walked me home, and helped me through class. We were always paired in dance class, and that's where we held most of our intimate conversations... however some of the conversations were strange. He told me once that if he had a superpower he'd want to talk to cars... I was slightly confused, but I eventually found it normal for him to come out with ridiculous conversations; but that's exactly what makes him Kim Taehyung, and I couldn't deny that I loved his alien side.

Strangely enough, I got along with Yoongi and Hoseok through Basketball... we had occasional competitions when I was walking home from school and dropped by. We even had conversations about what they each enjoyed (of course most of the conversations were on Google translate as they both were mildly familiar with English).

One day I was finishing up practice with Hoseok and Yoongi when Taehyung bounded onto the court, "Eunsol!" He panted. I spun around and saw beads of sweat dripping down his face.

"Geez, did you run all the way here?" I asked, grabbing him a towel and dabbing his face.

"Ne, ne! You need come with me now!" He let out one last breath until calming down.

"Well give me a second while I pack my stuff away."

"Ppalli, ppalli!" He pressed, tapping his foot.

Goodness, what's so urgent?

As soon as I placed my backpack on my back he tugged at my arm ferociously and dragged me out of the court.

"I'll see you tomorrow guys!" I shouted to Yoongi and Hoseok, receiving a nod as a reply.

"Jesus, Taehyung! What's wrong?!" I shrieked as I nearly toppled over a loose cobble.

"You see when get there!" Taehyung shouted to me.

Ugh, this child!

He finally stopped, and I realised we were outside school, "Taehyung what are we doing here?"

"Look!" He pointed at a notice board with a vibrant looking poster catching my attention.

"I can't read it..." I mumbled.

"It say there dance competition in school!" He squealed, jumping up and down like an immature child. He grabbed my arms and pulled them in and out as he twirled me around.

"Why are you so excited about it?!" I grumbled moodily, tugging my hands out of his grasp.

He abruptly stopped humming and looked at me with puppy eyes, "Eunsol-ah..." he stuck his bottom lip out, crumpling his face up.

"Whoa, Taehyung, what?" I questioned.

"You angry?" He questioned, returning his face back to normal.

"No, no. Just... I don't know if I want to dance in front of the whole school..." I looked down at my feet, feeling a churning feeling in my gut as I imagined myself performing in front of everyone... as a foreigner.

"Ya!" Taehyung snapped, grabbing my hands, intertwining our fingers, "you, more confidence!" He looked me in the eye, and the familiar fluttery feeling erupted in my stomach. I was completely glued to the spot... ah what is happening to me?!

I coughed and looked away from him, "I'll think about it," I mumbled.

"YAY!" He yelled, lifting me off my feet, "that yes, ne?" He started spinning me around, making me bury my face in his neck, squealing like a complete imbecile.

"Taehyung! Put me down!" I screeched giddily.

"Arasso, arasso," he giggled mischievously. As soon as I was placed on my feet, I could feel myself wobbling around aimlessly, not able to see clearly. Suddenly, I tripped over Taehyung's foot, expecting to face plant the ground, but firm hands clasped around my waist and tugged me back up.

"Ugh, thank you Taehyung," I mumbled into his chest.

"Call me Tae..." he whispered in my ear. I widened my eyes as his whisper shook its way through my whole body. I didn't want to let go... I didn't want to move my head from his chest. It felt impossible. It was funny, because I could hear his heart pounding against his chest; in a way I was relieved he couldn't hear how crazy my heart was at this moment...

"S-So we err... practice night every day?" He stuttered, keeping his hands wrapped around my waist.

I pulled away gently, "I never said a definite yes did I?" I smirked.

"Ya..." he grumbled, ah geez, why does his voice sound so low and manly like that?

"I'm kidding," I hit his chest playfully, "we'll practice when I have time okay?"

He nodded in an exaggerated manner and took me by the hand, "we take Eunsol-ah home now."

I smiled sweetly at him, going along with whatever he was doing. He rushed all the way to tell me about just that? What an idiot.

I finally finished my shift and helped Seokjin tidy up.

"Ah, thank you for doing extra work today," I sighed, bowing to him as he was about to leave.

"Pleasure mine Lim Eunsol," he gave off his signature plump lipped smile before turning his gaze to one of the tables, "make sure he get home safe," with that he left the shop. I looked towards Taehyung who was sound asleep with his head resting on the table. I have to admit, it was a beautiful sight.

I took my apron off and let my hair loose before carefully sitting next to him, laying my head down on the table facing him. I analysed every feature of his face, his largish nose with a beauty mark next to his right nostril, his heart shaped lips which were tinted a bright pink. The way his mouth slightly gaped as he inhaled and exhaled deep breaths. Just by looking at him I felt my tummy leap with an emotion I was too scared to admit, and soon my eyes grew heavy as I fell asleep beside him.

I could feel my consciousness returning by having something soft firmly planted on my lips. The slight movement of it made me realise that it was someone's lips... against mine.

However my muscles didn't want to respond so all I could do is wait for it to be over.

"Aish, why you beautiful Eunsol-ah," I heard Taehyung's voice mumble. Did he just kiss me then?!

I stirred slightly, giving Taehyung a bit of time to realise I was waking up. My eyes fluttered open and I saw Taehyung's box smile gazing upon me which made my heart palpitate.

"H-Hi Taehyung," I groaned and stretched.

"You so cute when stretch," he giggled, his eyes creasing cutely, "and I tell you, call me Tae!" His voice turned serious as he launched towards me, placing both hands on either side of me, bringing his face dangerously close.

"W-Whoa, T-Tae, calm down..." I whimpered slightly, as his gaze turned domineering and intimidating.

"Okay!" He snapped out of his seriousness and smiled, "I go home now... we practice tomorrow, ne?"

I nodded warily and saw him out of the door, watching him skip down the street.

"Did he really k-kiss me?" I said to myself, having a major conflict inside my head. I shakily touched my lips with my finger as I spun around in a circle, clasping my cheeks, "he c-can't of!"
