She just gingerly sat down next to me and said, “Hey, wanna talk about it?, between mouthfuls of her sandwich. 

Well… It won't hurt if I tell someone about it. Right?

Here goes nothing! 

(Takes a deep breath)

“One member left our group and all of us are deeply saddened by that.” 

She just nodded and waited for me to continue. When she realised that I was not going to add on anything else, she cocked her head sideways, a questioning look carved into her eyes. 

I sighed and knew I was not able to take much more of this girl’s cuteness. I just gave in and spilled the rest of the story. 

“She's my girlfriend. She broke up with me.” 

“Oh…” Was all she managed to say after she heard my story. She placed her hand onto my thigh and patted it slowly. 

“That happened to me too… But I overcame it and got a new boyfriend. Is okay, you'll get over it too.” 

Wow. What a great encouragement Irene. You sound cheerful but you actually just tore my hope down. A boyfriend? I guess I'll never get you then. 

That thought must have been reflected onto my face as the next sentence that came out from was, “Taeyeon, are you okay?” 

I quickly snapped myself out of my depressing daydream and nodded. Irene told me that I looked really depressed and sick.
