(Seulgi’s POV)

I held the small piece of crumpled paper in my gigantic hands and slowly straightened it out, making sure most of the creases disappeared. I slided my thumb across the numbers written on the paper and a small sheepish smile managed to creep up my face. I quickly grabbed my phone and punched in the numbers, saving her name as “My Bae Irene”, without forgetting to insert a pink heart at the end of it. 

“My Bae Irene… Sounds nice.” I mumbled to myself while laughing like some crazy person due to the dose of happiness I received when she passed me that piece of paper. Just as I was staring at the contact, I was having an internal battle with myself. My heart was telling me to click the message button and start a conversation with Irene but my brain, was shouting to stop. I chose to follow my brain that technically didn't help me for like 22 years of my life. So maybe God is giving me a chance and maybe I'll be making a right choice by following my heart this time round.

I switched off my phone and once again mumbled, “You better not let me down again brain.” With that, I went to get a change of clothes into my pajamas. After changing, I plopped my body down, face first, into my soft and comfortable bed. I groaned as I realised I had to walk again, to off the freaking lights. Ugh.
