“We’re back!”

Jeongyeon announces.

She looks at Sana for a minute, judging.

She honestly hated the fact that Sana is into Playboy, it gives her a sense that Sana could be forcing Mina to do things that are beyond Jeongyeon’s imagination.

Sana keeps her head low, that incident with the magazine makes her wants to shrink.

“Daddy!!”

Jeongyeon and Sana look where the sound came from.

Nayeon is excitedly heading downstairs.

She is always excited to see her father.

There are four more steps before the platform but Nayeon cared less about them as she jumps, to land her body, to her Daddy’s.

And like, every other time, Jeongyeon caught her in her arms.

They hugged.

So tight, not letting go of each other.

Jeongyeon spins Nayeon, the same thing she did to Mina.

“Nayeonnie misses Daddy so so much!”

Sana bites her lips to prevent herself from smiling, she finds it funny that Nayeon uses a third person to talk to Jeongyeon.

Mina is right, Nayeon is her complete opposite and immature, Sana thought.

Jeongyeon squeezed Nayeon’s cheeks and patted her head.

“Daddy, please tell me you miss me too and please tell me what you always tell me.”

Nayeon demands using her baby talk.

Sana puffs her cheeks.

She finds Nayeon adorable with that action.

Her eyes went to Jeongyeon and Sana soften her expression.

She sees awkwardness in Jeongyeon’s eyes but loves overpowers it.

Jeongyeon loves her daughters more than anything in the world.

No, she loves her family more than anything in the world and the scene in the car plays back in Sana’s mind.

A father will do everything to protect her children.

“Daddy!”

Nayeon whines, pouting her lips.

Jeongyeon smiled.

Sana is once again, impressed.

Jeongyeon’s reactions are genuine as long as it involves her daughters.

“Arra, Nabongie is pretty,” Jeongyeon says gently patting Nayeon’s head.

Nayeon closes her eyes enjoying this comfort from her father.

“Nabongie has pretty eyes,”

Nayeon smiles and nods.

“Nabongie’s teeth are pretty.”

Nayeon smiles showing her teeth.

“Nabongie is so cute.”

Jeongyeon squeezes her cheeks this time.

“Nabong’s feet are pretty too.”

Jeongyeon pokes the side of Nayeon’s stomach tickling her.

Nayeon chuckles loudly.

“Oh, I miss my Nabong.”

Jeongyeon said tickling Nayeon.

“Where are your mommy and Mina?”

Jeongyeon changes the topic.

“Dad! You forget one thing. The one that you always tell me.”

Nayeon whined with a pout.

Jeongyeon looks at her confused,

Nayeon pouted longer.

Jeongyeon smiled.

“You are my number one Nabongs. You are.”

Jeongyeon said in the most affectionate way a father could talk to her daughter.

Nayeon smiles widely and once again, launches her body to Jeongyeon.

Sana smiles on that sight.

Then her gaze focuses everywhere because Nayeon looks at her for a minute.

Cold and welcoming, that is what she felt, a combination of Jeongyeon and Jihyo’s aura.

She gulps and she opens to introduce herself.

But Nayeon beats her.

“You must be ‘her’,”

Sana is to speak.

“Yeah, Mina’s new girl.”

The sound of disapproval can be heard on how Jeongyeon said it.

“Dad,” Nayeon reprimands.

She smiles to Sana offering her hand.

“I am Mina’s older sister, Yoo Nayeon. Excuse my father she hates everyone who dates us.” Nayeon jokes.

“Oh, hey, Uhm. “

Sana wants to comment on that joke, but she ends up not doing so.

“Sana. right? Heard so many things about you.”

Nayeon beats her again.

Somehow, Sana feels at ease with Nayeon, likes she is someone who will understand her in this family.

“Oh, yeah. Me—“ Sana is cut off.

“What are these?” Asks Nayeon looking on the paper bags Sana is carrying.

“I – “

“She lost her baggage, and now she spent money on disposable stuff,” Says Jeongyeon shaking her head as she crosses her arms over her chest.

“The air-“

“Don’t be so harsh Dad, the airline lost it of course. Mina and Mom are in the kitchen cooking for dinner.” Nayeon eyed her father asking her to disappear.

Jeongyeon raises her brow and made eye contact with her first born.

If there is one person in the world that Jeongyeon can tolerate the immaturity that is Nayeon.

“I will help Sana carrying her things and you should check your wife she was a little too emotional earlier.”

Nayeon gives her rabbit smile to her father before getting one of the paper bags from Sana.

Jeongyeon just shakes her head and walk away, she is not checking the two, rather she went to the basement.

Sana is following Nayeon.

The aura of her girlfriend’s unnie changed.

It is 80% Jeongyeon and 20% Jihyo.

That scares Sana.

No one is talking, until.

Sana has no idea how she ends up in this position.

She scans where she is and it is different from Mina’s room.

The room is messy and clothes are scattered all over the floor, could be Nayeon’s room.

She is between Nayeon and the door. Her body is pinned on the closed door with Nayeon’s face inches away from hers.

dried up and she swears to God, she will piss her shorts.

Nayeon’s hands holding Sana’s wrists. Pressing Sana to the wall.

She moves her face closer to Sana’s.

As if she intends to kiss the poor girl.

Sana bites her lips inwardly, all she can hear is her pulse from under her ear.

She thinks Nayeon is mental.

Nayeon moves closer until their noses touched.

Sana tries to move back but she is trapped.

Her hands are getting cold and her sweats are iced.

She closes her eyes.

Nayeon smirks seeing Sana vulnerable under her.

“How serious are you about my sister?”

Sana feels goosebumps.

The hot breath of Nayeon brushes on her sensitive lips.

“I -- I—lo --ve her,”

Sana sounds jittery.

“That is just words.”

Nayeon speaks in disbelief.

Sana opens to say something, her ears are clogging.

Whatever Nayeon is doing to her is making her wants to piss.

Nayeon releases Sana’s wrists and holds her by the collar. But their noses are still touching.

Sana’s arms just fell on her side as if her bones are no longer functioning.

“Tell you what, I will take your words. If you. And I am being dead serious here.”

Nayeon glares.

“If you ever make Mina cry, I will find you and I will kill you.”

Sana is sure that Nayeon got it from the movie Taken, but hell, it is scary.

She gulps, Mina’s family is phenomenal she thought.

Nayeon finally lets her go.

Sana lost her knees too as she slides down to the floor in an instance.

She wants to pee in nervousness. Good thing, she can still control her muscles there.

Nayeon beams at Sana.

“Now, tell me are you and Mina living together?”

“NO!” Sana says defensively.

Nayeon’s eyes narrow more.

“NO!! We are not!”

Nayeon closes her eyes and slowly nods.

She realizes that Sana will not repudiate Mina.

“Good. Just so you know, Mina tells me everything.”

Nayeon says casually.

“What? So, you know? God. Why are you doing this to me?”

Sana holds on her chest.

“Well, I am testing you and hmmm.. I think you could be enough for Mina.”

Nayeon tries to pat Sana’s shoulder but the latter moves back.

Nayeon laughs.

“Chill Sana. I am on your side, well for now, “She warns.

“Now, since we are somewhat chum. Here.”

Nayeon throws a plain shirt to Sana.

“What is this for?”

“Change your clothes dude, that shirt is Momo’s”

Sana’s eyes widen.

Is there something wrong with her ears?

“I can’t believe Mina did not tell you, Momo still has a couple of shirts in her closet well she used to live here.”

Nayeon says casually like that news will not bother Sana at all.

Sana’s hands start to shake.

She does not know how long will she be able to take all these.

Her heart clenches and water forms in her eyes.

Momo used to live in the Yoos lair.

Mina’s parents love her.

Momo has a wall inside Mina’s room.

Momo shared five years with Mina.

What else did Mina and Momo, have not done yet? Momo will always be miles ahead of her in Mina’s life.

All this information hit Sana like solid rocks that make her bleed from the inside.

“Dinner is ready!”

Jihyo announces.

“Let’s go, my mom makes the best kimchi fried rice!”

Nayeon gives Sana a smile before walking out of her room.

Sana wants to have time to process everything.

She changes her clothes and looks at the shirt that is according to Nayeon is owned by Momo and she stretches it, pulling it from left to right.

Releasing all the anger, insecurities, and annoyance.

She wiggles her body and threw the shirt somewhere on Nayeon’s pile of clothes.

Sana feels her immune system is not on its game today, maybe it is because of too many emotions she is feeling today.

And she knows it is not good because she feels feverish.

Sana walks in the dining room and all four Yoos are seated already.

Mina smiles at her, inviting and warm.

Now Sana realizes, how can she be mad to this angel?

How can she hates her past, Mina is with her now so she should not compare herself to that girl named Momo.

And with that, Sana’s frustration and anger faded.

Jihyo eyed the way Mina and Sana look at each other and she smiled at the two.

Her eyes and cheeks are puffy.

Flashback

“I’m outta here! Need to call Tzuyu!” Nayeon runs out of the room when she saw her mother with a not so good expression.

“Mom, I – I really am sorry if I.”

Mina is shocked.

Jihyo cups Mina’s cheeks and tears started to fall from her eyes.

“Ssshh. You are an adult Penggu, you can make your own decisions I am just – “

Jihyo sobs and takes a deep breath.

She is surprised knowing about it, she feels betrayed for a moment because Mina did not tell her about this.

But she realizes something, she should be proud of Mina.

She makes her own decisions and makes her own choices now.

No one tells her what to do and she survived it.

Mina had finally grown up, to be the woman she is always destined to be.

Independent and responsible.

“I love you Mina, and if you think this what makes you happy, I am all for it, just so you know, if things don’t work out the way you want it to be, mommy is always here okay?”

Mina smiles with tears forming in her eyes.

It is such a relief, Jihyo understood her.

Jihyo is the best mother in the world, Mina thought.

Sana sits beside Mina and they smiled at

Chapter 20: holy sh*t I love this story so much. It's so funny and cute but also serious and deep, it's simply perfect. I wish there's more bonus chapter like life after marriage or how jihyo acts around sana's parents now that she's in-laws with her idol 😭
