‘I love it, I hate it and I can’t take it... But I keep on coming back to you’

Hayoung’s eyes widened as she could feel her heart was beating crazily. She never dares to imagined that she would have a chance to taste his lips on hers. It was short, but that was sweet enough for her.

Hyungwon slowly pulled his face away from her before her cheeks gently with his fingertips. “I’m sorry for kissing you, and I’m so sorry for being selfish...”

Hayoung remained mute. She was happy for sure because she finally realized that the guy still keep his love for her. But in the other hand, she was confuse because she was already being someone else’s girlfriend now.

An announcement for the last flight passenger had announced. Hyungwon took a few steps back. “Take care and see you again,” he said as he turned around, without even look back.

Hayoung stood at the arrival terminal when Changkyun asked her to wait since he will pick her up. Less than 20 minutes after she sent Hyungwon to take the last flight to Seoul, Changkyun’s car parked in front of her then she immediately goes in it.

“Thanks God you finally came so I don’t need to wait too long,” she huffed as she took a seat beside him.

“It’s really cold outside. Why don’t you put a thick jacket with you?” Changkyun asked while starting to leave the airport.

“I forgot it. Stupid me,” Hayoung whimpered and soon after, she could feel something warm greet her shoulder. Changkyun took off his jacket and places on her. It made her fluttered.

“I heard that Eunji noona will give birth soon. Is that true?”

“Ah, yes. It’s true. That was why Hyungwon oppa should go back to Seoul already,” Hayoung was back to her sense.

“You should call me to drive him earlier, so you don’t need to feel cold like this,” Changkyun glanced at Hayoung whose face suddenly turned awkward.

“I-I... actually I wanted to call you. B-but, Hyungwon oppa seems hurry, so I initiated to take a cab instead,” Hayoung was completely stuttering because she was afraid that Changkyun will notice something wrong from her face.

“Did he know about us?” Changkyun asked again.

Hayoung nodded. “I’ve told him already.”

“Okay...” Changkyun shrugged and there were no words escaped from his mouth again.

Sensing the awkward atmoshpere inside the car, Hayoung decided to break it off. “I’m sorry for earlier. Please don’t get mad at me...”

“It’s okay, Hayoung. I’m not mad at you and I’ll never do it. You don’t have to worry, sweety,” Changkyun smiles while Hayoung’s hair gently with his free hand.

“Thank you, Changkyun-ah,” she said while copying his smile.

“Anyway, are you hungry? Let’s get some meals before going back to our apartment,” Changkyun asked and Hayoung nodded in agreement.

Wonho was in the room during the birth and was one of the first three people to see the baby in the flesh as he emerged. He coughed and wailed in the reassuring way that Wonho thought that it will only show in the movies. He was relieved when doctor told him that his baby and Eunji were healthy. He saw Eunji would have been flooded with oxytocin from the natural birth to start her bonding process, but he was still there to give support for her. He couldn’t help but had tears welled in his eyes that the day had finally come and everything turned out well.

An immense feeling of joy and love greets him when he had a chance to holds the baby for the first time in his arms. “Hoseok-ah... welcome to the world,” he said as his eyes didn’t leave the magical creature that snuggled inside his secure arms. Both of Eunji’s parents were there too to see their first grandchild and they were so happy as well.

Eunji that already stay inside the patient room was feeling the same way. Tears of joy flowed from her eyes when Wonho let her to held the baby. The feeling was very hard to describe. Eunji feels that it was overwhelming and it was the only time she have felt anything just like close to mystical. She’s staring at the baby and whispered, “You are mine.”

Just when Mr. Jung and Mrs. Chae leave the new parents in the room alone, Wonho used the chance to come closer to the woman that he loved before give a soft peck on the crown of her head.

“Thank you, Ji... Thank you for giving birth to our Hoseok. And thank you for stay healthy,” he said while staring at Eunji’s face with full of love.

Eunji smiles at him before let her gaze fall to their baby again. “He has your lips and nose...” she mumbles but still audible to be heard by Wonho.

He followed her gaze and a warm smile formed on his lips. “And he has your adorable eye smile, Ji,” he raised a hand to the baby cheeks before suddenly squealing. “Omo... his cheeks are so soft!”

Eunji chuckled by Wonho’s childish act. She never thought that the hard times that she should spend for the past 8 months were paid off today. She’s welcoming two men that she love in a same time. She really wanted to claim herself as the happiest woman on Earth.

Some minutes later, their happy moments suddenly interruped when someone opens the door of Eunji’s room. Their attention straightly move when they catch the familiar person behind the door. It revealing Hyungwon’s figure that already standing with expression that they can't read. He gazes at his stepsister then move to Wonho before sternly walked close to them.

That was when his eyes finally captured the cute and soft thing snuggle comfortly inside Eunji’s arm. Hyungwon couldn’t help but adoring the small figure. He admit that he fell for him for the first time. A smile instantly cracked on his lips as he ask Eunji to give the baby to him.

With the help from Wonho, Eunji succesfully move the baby to Hyungwon’s arms. The younger carefully pick him as the baby started to shifting inside his secure arm.

“He’s cute...” it was the first thing that escaped from his mouth when the baby started to open his eyes. Hyungwon used his free hand to touch the little hand. That was when the tiny fingers curl around his pinky. He watch the newborn with joyful. “Did he have a name already?” still with blisfull expression, Hyungwon asked his stepsister.

Eunji was taken aback with the sudden question. She didn’t directly give an answer instead she glanced at Wonho that still standing beside her. He nodded as a signal to her to just tell the younger the truth. Eunji was staring at Wonho a little longer as she tried to gather her strength. Wonho notice it, so he slowly grabbed her hands to convinced her.

“Hoseok...” Eunji paused a moment before continued. “His name is Shin Hoseok.”

Hyungwon’s eyes widened just when he heard the name of the baby. He quickly adjusted his gaze to his stepsister and like she could predict it, Eunji immediately give the reason.

“Wonho knows everything already. And we’ve planned to get married next week, a day before he head back to States—“

“So you decided everything without asking me first,” Hyungwon cut her words as he’s staring at Eunji in disbelief.

“I’m sorry, Hyungwon. I wanted to tell you soon but you’re still out of the country. Then something happened and I need to give birth earlier than the doctor expected—“ she tried to explain but Hyungwon once again cut her words as he give the baby back to his mother.

“But still, you can’t do this to me...” he shook his head.

Eunji heaved a deep sigh. She signaled Wonho to bring little Hoseok back to the baby room, so she could talk to her stepbrother privately. Wonho nodded in understanding and soon after, he left the room with the baby with him.

Eunji slowly got up from the bed before walk closer to Hyungwon that standing backfacing her before hugging the taller from the back. “I’m sorry. I’m really sorry. I know that you must feel betrayed after everything that you’ve done to me. But truth to be true, I really wish that we will stop our marriage plan because I know that it will only make you suffered.”

“Noona...” Hyungwon turned around and he let Eunji loosened the hug. “Didn't I tell you for multiple times that your sorrow is my sorrow too?” he said as he hold her hands.

Eunji smiles while staring at his eyes deeply. “Though you keep telling me that you’ll be okay with it, I can see that doubt and pain expresses clearly on your eyes. It hurts and burden me more, Hyungwon...”

Hyungwon remained mute as he was waiting for her to finishing her words.

“As your sister, I can’t let you live the life that you should not live. I want to see you happy with someone that you really love. Thanks God because He finally let me having Wonho and our baby in the same time. And I want you to have a same happiness like I had,” Eunji smiled grew wider. “So, this is your time to live your life freely. Go confess your love to Hayoung now. She must be waiting for you.”

Hyungwon tried to copy it though it failed to similarly bright as her. If only Eunji knows that the girl that he loved already have someone else in her life. If only Eunji knows that Hayoung left her love for him already. “You don’t need to worry about my love life. Seeing you were smiling widely like today is more than enough for me. Promise me that you will never shed a tear anymore, noona.”

“I promised you,” Eunji’s smile remained as she’s staring at her stepbrother face deeply.

“Um, actually, there’s something that I should talk about with your soon-to-be husband. Can I ask him to talk privately before you two held your wedding?” Hyungwon suddenly asked.

“What are you want to talk about with Wonho?” Eunji knitted her eyebrows. “You will not give him some punches, didn’t you?”

Hyungwon chuckled. “You don’t need to worry. I’ll not ruin his pretty face. It’s shameful to have an ugly brother in law, you know.”

Eunji heaved a relieve sigh before landed a light punch on Hyungwon’s left arm. “Okay, I give you permition to talk to him. But remember, don't you ever dare to touch his face though a bit or I'll kick you.”

“Noona, you’re started to act like a possesive wife now. And it’s annoying,” Hyungwon hissed and another light hit greets his arm.

Hyungwon asked Wonho to take a lunch together in one of restaurant near the hospital. An awkward silence filled around them, as none of them started to speak out. They seems enjoying their food so much like there’s nothing could bothering them.

As he finished his food and notice the plate in front of Wonho’s was already empty too, Hyungwon decided to clear his throat to make a proper start of their conversation. “Is there anything that you want to order again, hyung?”

Wonho jerked a bit with the sudden question, but he quickly shook his head. “No, it was enough. Thank you, Hyungwon,” he said while curling a thin smile.

“You should eat a lot, hyung. Because started from today, you’ll stay awake all night. You know, you should take care of your newborn baby and of course taking care of his mother that unfully recovered yet. You needs to save your energy,”

Wonho’s eyes widened. He thought that Hyungwon will get mad at him, instead he was showing his concern at him.

“You surely don’t think that actually I already knew everything,” Hyungwon paused to staring at Wonho’s face. “I already know that you are the biological father from the start...”

Another thing made Wonho shocked, Hyungwon suddenly made a confession that confuse him more. “S-so, you already know though Eunji never tell you... But, how come?”
