Roaring thunderstorms with rain pouring heavily ruined Somi’s night.

“Ujung, avy, hemnut sfucr,” (Yoojung, baby, I’m not scared,) For the nth time Somi is still trying to convince and pushing her girlfriend’s shoulders gently but Yoojung kept her place.

“Avy ha hant vurit-” (Baby I can’t breathe-) Another loud thunder can be heard, soon followed by a high pitch scream and an even tighter arms around Somi’s head.

When Somi heard the first thunder, Yoojung bolts up and hovers on top of her.

Forbidding the younger one to continue to watch her favorite disney movie.

It’s been almost ten minutes since the first thunder, and apparently Yoojung too being on top of Somi.

Somi didn’t mind Yoojung being the top, but her face is buried against her girlfriend’s chest and arms, crush-hugging her head like a wrestler.

No matter how many times Somi tells her that she’s okay and she’s not clearly the one who needed comforting.

Since every time the thunder can be heard Yoojung will always answer it by a dolphin scream.

Yoojung let out a low whimper and with her shaking voice she stuttiringly said “I-i lo-love you...a-and I-i’ll always pro-protec- AH!” Yes. Another thunder just occured.

So Somi patted her back and gave her a securely hug and let out a muffled “Ha mufvd hoo fue ma tsikfen,”

“Wha-what?” Yoojung lifted her small body a little and looked at her girlfriend with teary eyes.

Somi blinked, lifting her chin and softly pressed her lips against Yoojung’s chin.

“I said, I love you too my chicken,”

Another thunder, and before Somi knows it she is being shoved against Yoojung’s chest again.

Somi smiled and snakes her arms around Yoojung’s waist, burying her face even deeper against the little one’s chest. And Somi realized, her night wasn't really ruined at all.
