Chapter 4
UnspokenChapter IV
Chaelyn was on her way to the restaurant that her family and the Lee family always frequent when she was young. Despite feeling that her father's preparation for this casual dinner with the Lee Family a little weird, she still put on the dress that he prepared for her anyway. It made her ponder because after all those dinners with various people, even the important ones, her father has never once asked her to wear something that he prepared. He just told her the dress code for the dinner and then she would prepare it herself.
She frowned, having a hutch that this casual dinner will be anything but casual. She feels that there's something that her father didn't inform her and she have a feeling that she wouldn't like it at all.
Seeing Chaelyn frowning while she was looking out of the car's window from the rear mirror, Uncle Kim cleared his throat before asking, 'Chaelyn dear, why are you frowning so hard? You seem to be deep in thoughts. Mind sharing with uncle?' Chaelyn was caught off-guarded before she chuckled a bit, 'Did I frowned really hard? I didn't even realize it. But well, I was just thinking about this dinner I'm about to attend. I don't know why but it seemed like I'm having a bad feeling for it.' She admitted.
It was always really easy to talk to Uncle Kim because other than her father, he is the one who has been taking care of Chaelyn since young. Not only he's a housekeeper of the Park family for years, Chaelyn's father also considered Kim Daeho as his right-hand man and trusts him a lot. Whenever he is met with difficulties, he would seek for his advice and take it into consideration. Thus, over the years, not only Chaelyn's father trusts him, Chaelyn herself also puts a lot of trust on him.
'Well, whatever the matter is, I'm very sure that whatever your father does, it's for your own good. You don't really know how much he just dotes on you' He replied with a gentle smile. Chaelyn just smiled back and shook her head, 'Uncle Kim, you probably knows about what's about to happen but you're too good at keeping mum about it. Now I know why Daddy trusts you so much.'
To that, he just responded by letting out a hearty laughter and said 'You've certainly taken over your father's genes of being smart.'
After awhile, Uncle Kim dropped her off in front of the tall building before the staff guided her to the room where her father and the Lee family are. 'This is the room. I hope you'll enjoy your meal!' The lady smiled politely which Chaelyn responded by smiling back and bowing a little as she muttered her thanks to her.
Chaelyn then took a deep breath since she wasn't feeling really good for this dinner. 'Well, here goes...' She muttered before opening the door and had her eyes widened because of what she saw sitting right in front of her. Shock is totally an understatement because the last person she expected to see was him.
Now, she's very certain that she will not be happy to whatever was going to happen.Chapter 4
