Rulebook of the Bachelor Mansion
Bachelors' Paradise - BTS Ver //Did you ever dream of dating BTS?LAdies, here is what you have to expect
Because this is a game after all
What will await the girls in the mansion?
The whole story takes place in one of the mansions of the bachelors (yupp, there's a hidden card allowing them to destroy one of his houses). The mansion is far away from the big cities, though, so nobody can interfere and media (such as newspaper reporters, dispatch paparazzi etc) will not be allowed to be around. MBC who will be the ones to broadcast the program will take legal actions against anyone trying to dig out dirt about the bachelors, so their private lives stay a secret as long as possible. However, the contestants are not allowed to use computers or smartphones once they get in since they could look up facts about the bachelors or get influenced by the media etc. They are allowed to call back home or get calls, nevertheless, so don't worry, nobody has to miss mommy and daddy.
The whole mansion is full of cameras and the camera teams will be around 24/7. However, the bachelors' private rooms are a camera- free zone, so if your character ends up following them into their rooms, nobody except for them knows what's happening in there. But yeah, even the girls' bedrooms are full of cameras... the producers have to know and edit it well if one or two of the contestants start to conspire after all.
What will await YOU in the mansion?
So what is all this about the stats etc in the app sheet? This actually is a pretty important point for the story. Stats determine how your character will do in challenges and how well they might click with some of the bachelors. Each of the bachelors have an ideal type and regarding their preferences your character might win over others because of their stats. There are plenty of girls going for the same guy, so consider this pretty well. But the stats aren't that important or better said useless when you make the right or wrong decision. What I am talking about?
This is an interactive "Choose your own Adventure" applyfic.
In other words: It's up to you what will happen to your character. At the end of each chapter I will ask you some questions in the Author's Note section that you will have to answer either in a comment or in a PM. The decisions and answers you give will decide how far your character will get in this. I won't decide who matches best to the bachelors, it is all up to you. I have the challenges and outcomes all prepared, if you decide wisely or you're just simply lucky, your character ends up in challenges that they can win thanks to their stats or they are lucky and end up on one on one dates or group dates in which they can increase their stats or get to know the bachelors better so they might save your character from being eliminated later. You could also be very, very unlucky and end up in challenges that your character will lose and automatically get eliminated.
Further, some of the bachelors will ask certain characters out on dates or into their rooms. Keep in mind that if you decide to follow them, the other bachelors will certainly get to know about it and be less interested in your character then (might be the other way round, too, it all depends on dynamics). Sooo... whatever you are going to do: What goes around, comes around.
authors note
Since there have already been plenty of apps in just a few days, I decided I'd give away some of the things I've been planning for this story. And that includes how the whole thing works - the Choose your own Adventure aspect. Some of you might have wondered about the Stats in the app sheet. This is why. So yeah... have fun with it, I hope you are as excited as I am about it!
btw: I decided that I might extend the number of contestants if there are a lot more apps than expected (tbh I was afraid I would not make it to even get the 21 but atm it looks pretty much as if I would make it even before the deadline). I will eliminate more contestants though each round because of that to get a decent number of contestants for the boys to focus on during the story. I just thought that maybe 21 girls for 7 guys is a bit sad since that would mean they have like only 3 girls each and in the original bachelor series there is one guy with about 25 girls.
