Chapter Eleven
Uneasy Hearts Weigh the MostThey were going on 14 hours of waiting. Simon, Jay, Minah, and the guys waited in the waiting room of the surgical floor. Every time a nurse or doctor would come out they would jump up in hopes that it would be the doctor to tell them that Sorin was done.
"Mr. Park?" A doctor asked as she exited the OR doors. Everyone jumped up anxiously.
"Yes ma'am." Jay said as he took a step towards her.
"Ms. Kim's state is in critical condition. We were able to remove the bullet, however it was lodged deeper then expected. We dont know what damage has occured, quiet honestly we are suprised that she was funcitoning the way she was. The next 24 hours are going to be very revealing on what we are dealing with. She will remain incubated and on several monitors that will monitor her condition. Its probably best if only you stay with her. Big groups of people arent good for her state. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me or ask one of the other doctors to page me." The doctor put out her hand and shook Jay's.

He opened the door and walked towards Sorin's side, where a chair was sitting for him to sit. The slow, steady rhythm of her heart played over the monitors. The dripping of the IV and the sounds of the machine helping her breathe could be heard also. Jay took Sorins hand in his and rubbed small circles over the back of her hand, with his free hand, he pushed her hair behind her ear.
"Sorin, if you can hear me you stubborn woman, we need you to come back to us. Your brother misses you and Minah wont stop crying. I miss you too. When I first saw you that day at the hospital, I thought you were so ballsey, the way you took your shoe off and hit those guys. Then when you put the leader of Exo into a headlock and gave him a noggie. I couldnt believe this small woman had so much strength and fearlessness, it was really refreshing.
