He knows he shouldn't be doing this but he just couldn't help but to shut everyone out again. His managers found out about him passing out after Sehun told on him. The latter is just worried for his well-being but he takes it in the wrong way and has been avoiding Sehun ever since. He watches his group members rehearse on stage on the small TV backstage as he sits on a wheel-chair. His body is moving to the beat of the song and he eventually starts to dance to the songs. He really wants to dance and perform on stage to give a good show to his fans. But his managers already forbid him from doing that. They even threatened him that if he went up on stage today, they would not allow him to dance anymore. He sighs and rests his chin on his arm as he starts to get bored while watching them. His phone beeps all of a sudden, receiving a message from someone he would not have expected. 

How are you, Jongin? I hope you're not performing today.

If you are, I will be really upset.

Jongin actually laughs when he read the message. Soojung typed the message in a really cute manner with lots of emojis and he hasn't smiled this much since forever. Ever since he suddenly blurted out at her and Sehun at the clinic a few days ago, he couldn't help but to think of it every night. He felt a bit guilty for lashing out at her when she isn't the one at fault for his anger. He eventually calls her on the same day, apologising for his sudden rash behaviour. He felt relieved when she forgived him. After that, they have been texting each other regularly. She has been sending him good morning messages and checks if he has eaten his medicine or is getting some rest. It isn't like the old times where they would text 24/7 but it is better than nothing. He sends a quick reply, assuring her that he isn't performing tonight and will take care of himself well.

Junmyeon sees the latter smiling at his phone from the stage and he heaves a sigh of relief. He is afraid that Jongin will ruin everyone's mood today just like how he always does at every one of their concerts. Tying up his shoelace, Sehun furrows his eyebrows as he sees his leader smiling in delight. "Why are you suddenly so happy, hyung?" he asks.

"Nothing," Junmyeon shakes his head. "I'm just glad that Soojung is reaching out to Jongin now."

Sehun raises an eyebrow, "Soojung? What are you talking about?"

"I called Soojung last night, telling her of how Jongin reacted when our managers told him that he isn't allowed to perform for the concert." All eight members and the staff at the waiting room shivered in fear as they saw how the calm and quiet Jongin suddenly transformed into a fierce beast who shouted at the managers. He actually changed into a scary Kai and Junmyeon was really worried for him. That's why he secretly called Soojung last night and told her of what had happened. He could not handle to see suffering and being in pain anymore. "I just told her to treat him better and be there for him when he needs her."

Sehun scoffs after hearing what the leader has to say. Has Jongin ever been there for Soojung when she needed him? Sehun was always there for her and he promised himself he wouldn't leave her to bare all the pain and sufferings alone. When the whole world was against her for standing up for her sister, Jongin was not there to comfort her. When an article called her out for being 'rude' and the entire Internet hates her, Jongin wasn't there too. It was always Sehun who had to pick up the pieces for him but he had never complained. Soojung needed someone and he was more than happy to lend her his shoulders to cry on.

Jongdae and Baekhyun are bickering with each other as the both of them wanted to push Jongin out on the stage. Sehun stands up right as soon as he sees him, his eyes rolling at him. Junmyeon notices the younger's actions and smacks his chest before sternly asking him to behave. The leader has somehow figure out that the two youngest members of his group hasn't been on good terms for a long while and he really wishes that the two of them will be fine with each other soon. He feels sad that the bond of two brothers are broken just because of a girl.

When he sees the familiar black Converse outside his apartment, Sehun knows that his best friend has been staying over at his apartment during the time he was away in Nagoya. It has been a habit of hers for a long time. She claims that the reason why she does that is to cure her sadness away of missing him
