For the past month, Jongin has been trying to be a good boyfriend. Sending her back and fro to work and home. Making sure she eats her meals on time. Staying behind to wait for her to end her schedules. Everyone around her has been praising him and telling her that she is such a fortunate person to have such a boyfriend. She is trying her best to accept his love and everything he has done for her, but her heart still refuses to accept him.

She feels guilty whenever he smiles at her as if she is the world to him with those sparkling eyes of him. Everyday, she tells herself that she should forget about that one person and focus on the present. If Sehun really loved me like what he said, he wouldn't have given up on me so easily. She couldn't explain the heartbreak she felt when she saw him giggling and flirting with one of the new back-up dancers during a concert rehearsal last week. The day before, Sehun had texted her saying that he missed her and wished to talk to her. She really thought that things could work out for them and was so eager to meet him. But she stopped in her tracks when she saw him laughing with happiness written all over his face.

"Oh, that's Haerin! She's a new dancer and just joined us a few days ago. She really gets along well with Sehun. I heard from the staff that the two of them are going out. Didn't Sehun tell you?" She still can't forget those words being said by her manager. Since then, she knows that it is the end. She constantly reminds herself that Sehun no longer loves her and has to move on. She just couldn't believed that he found someone to replace her that easily. She really thought that his love for her is strong but it is all just words. 

Slowly, she starts to reciprocate to Jongin's feelings by giving him small gestures such as thanking him by kissing his cheek and gently squeezing his hand once in a while. It isn't much but at least she is trying. Her heart couldn't stay stagnant and hope that Sehun would come back running to her. Besides, she is already with Jongin and it would be better for the three of them to just be that way, like how it orginally is.

She flutters her eyes open to see a fairly tanned man is looking at her as he softly caresses her cheeks. She leans the side of her face into his warm hands and breathes in the morning air. He brings her closer to him and plants a kiss on the top of her forehead. She tries moving her body but realises that their legs are tangled on top of the other. She giggles softly before snuggling to his chest.
