Bold= your thoughts

I felt tears run down my face as I looked at the scene before me. Before I knew it, I bolted for the door as I heard him call my name. But all that couldn’t change the things I had seen. I ran and ran, his voice slowly becoming fainter and fainter.

I held the tiny photograph in my hands with a smile on my face. I just couldn’t wait to tell him. I arrived at his apartment and giddily walked to the elevator. I pressed the top most floor. The elevator slowly climbed up the tower as I kept staring at the photograph.

Thump thump… my heartbeat pounded against my chest as it almost reached the top floor.

Ding~ The elevator opened revealing the pent house before me. Left and right I looked, but he couldn’t be seen.

Where is he?? He said he would be home…

I roamed around the room until I heard faint voices coming from his bedroom. I walked over slowly.  As I got near the door, I was able to tell that there were in fact two voices, his and strangely, a female’s.

No…he wouldn’t… he can’t…

After what seemed like eternity, I finally arrived in front of his bedroom door. Without thinking, I pushed open the door and what I saw left me speechless. There he was, under some girl that I couldn’t recognize. I swear I saw her look up and smirk at me. He looked up and his eyes widened with shock written on his face.
